Danny had been struggling with his emotions ever since he lost Leafy. He had tried to move on, but he couldn't shake the feeling of loss and emptiness.

One day, he found himself standing in front of Leafy's grave. He hadn't visited it in a long time, but something had drawn him there.

He fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face. He couldn't believe that Leafy was gone, that he would never see his smile again.

He started to sob uncontrollably, his body wracked with pain. He felt like he was drowning, like he couldn't breathe.

In that moment, he made a decision. He couldn't go on like this. He needed to do something, anything, to numb the pain.

He started to drink heavily, drowning his sorrows in alcohol. He would stumble around the streets, his mind foggy and his heart heavy.

But that wasn't enough. He needed something stronger, something that would make him forget.

He started to self-harm, cutting himself with a razor blade. He would do it in secret, hiding the scars under his clothes.

Lermanus noticed that something was wrong with Danny. He could see the pain in his eyes, the way he would flinch at the slightest touch.

He tried to talk to him, to get him to open up, but Danny would always shut him out.

One day, Lermanus found the scars on Danny's arm. He was horrified, and he couldn't believe that Danny had been hurting himself.

He tried to get Danny to stop, to get him to seek help, but Danny was too far gone.

He would lash out at Lermanus, telling him that he didn't understand, that he couldn't help him.

In the end, Lermanus had no choice but to leave. He couldn't watch Danny destroy himself any longer.

Danny was left alone once again, lost in his pain and his addiction. He knew that he was hurting himself, but he couldn't stop.

And as he sat in his dark apartment, staring at the scars on his arm, he knew that he had hit rock bottom.
