SEBASTIAN'S POV
One could say that I was avoiding Jensen- but another could say that I was giving him the well deserved time away from all my bullshit...
...and now that I'm viewing back over that stance they both basically mean the same thing.
Fuck.
The days multiplied without us speaking a single word to one another. One week became two and we both knew a conversation eventually had to be had.
Even Coraline was beginning to sense the awkward tension staining the atmosphere.
"What the actual fuck is going on right now." She slammed her hands down onto the canteen table. I was sitting on one end and Jensen on the other.
He had an unreadable expression on his face as he shoved the moving canteen meatloaf around his untouched plate.
"Did I miss a chapter? Was a page torn out or something. Because if it was- I would very much love to be filled in on what I missed." Coraline was met back with silence.
"We hooked up." I blurted out.
"Seb!" Jensen whined.
"You what-!?" Coraline yelped.
"Keep it down- will you!" I hushed. "We do not need this getting out. My reputation can't keep taking all these hits."
Jensen rolled his eyes at my dramatic stance.
"Why though! I thought that ship sailed over a year ago?"
"It did." Jensen persisted.
"It was simply just a moment of weakness for the both of us- okay?" I hissed an explanation.
Jensen palmed his face as Coraline burst into a fit of laugher.
"No wonder y'all have been acting so weird lately!" Coraline chuckled. "But I never would've guessed." She crossed he arms and glanced at her two best friends. "So. Does this mean your getting back together?
I opened my mouth to tell her no, but Jensen beat me to it.
"No." He said, rolling his eyes.
I glared at him.
"I was going to say no- but why are you saying no?"
"Because we're not?"
"Okay- but she was asking me-"
"-pretty damn sure she was asking the both of us-"
"-well she's facing me. Not you. Me."
"Does it really matter Seb?"
I was now being reminded all too well on why we broke up in the first place as ur useless bickering continued.
