Lily walks into school in a normal manner. She reaches in her organized locker and grabs her stuff to bring to homeroom. The hallway is not as crowded in the mornings. She makes her way easily down it. About half way there, four of her classmates catch up to her. Nick, Kelsey, Jaden, and Thomas.

She slows down her pace and walks with them.

"It should be summer, I think. I'm tired of homework." Nick complains with bright voice. He raises his eye brows and exaggerates a smile. "But we've still another month. Not to mention, the most stressful month of the whole school year."

"It's not too too bad." Thomas gives him a slight smile back. "Wait till our last year of high school. Let's go ahead and make our bets now on who's gonna make it."

Lily gives a small laugh in return. She looks at Thomas, then quickly turns away when he looks back at her. She doesn't want to give the impression she doesn't like him, but she feels more awkward next to him then the other guys. It was awkward as if she was too afraid to mess up.

"Thomas," She begins even though she completely forgets what she was going to say. "Never mind."

Thomas nods his head once. They reach homeroom and split up to find their seats. As usual, Jake shows up late and sneaks into class without getting in trouble.

God, I hate that guy. Is all Lily can think. Thomas looks back and gives her a look as if he where saying 'I'm thinking the same thing.' Lily smiles, but then once she realizes she did, stops. Something about Thomas made her smile, and the thought was creeping Lily out. She wonders if he feels the same way about her, if he feels... whatever Lily felt for him.

Lily grabs her backpack and heads out the door after school. The weekend. The break is needed very much. Lily runs home and immediately goes to her room. She shuts the door and sinks down onto the floor. She doesn't exactly know what is making her fall apart, but she just guesses it was the stress of school.

Lily feels a sudden urge to see Thomas. She groans. He was ruining her life, in a kinda good way. All she can think about is him. He was quite cute... That was the word. He was cute.

Lily smiles to herself slightly.

What the heck. She says to herself. Lay off a bit Lily. Your not love-crazy.

That night, Lily lays down in her bed, eager to sleep in. She begins to have a dream, though she hasn't had one in a while.

She's walking through the school. The hallways are empty except for the lockers. The lighting is dim. A boy is there too, on the complete other side of the hall. He has a cute grin on his face. The boy's head is tilted down, but at the point where she can see his eyes peering up to her. Lily also looks towards the ground. She stands there weirdly for a minute. It is cold and uncomfortable, making Lily stiff.

A hand gently lifts Lily's chin upward to meet the eyes of the boy, now standing right in front of her. All the feeling of stiff and cold melts away from her and she begins to come closer to the him. Both of them have a look of nervousness and a hint of a smile. The boy uses two fingers to swipe away the strings of hair hanging in front of her face, giving her a clear look and Lily recognizes the boy immediately. It is Thomas.
