Alarm clock screaming, birds on the window pane chirping, and smells of spring filling the air; the start of what was supposed to be forever for Bentley and Michelle.

Bentley woke up out of a cold sweat trying to shake off the butterflies as well as the nightmare he just had. Today was the day he was going to marry the love of his life and he wasn't going to let some silly nightmare be a buzzkill. However, it's hard to not let a nightmare get to you especially when its about your big day. He dreamt that his bride-to-be, Michelle, left him standing at the alter in front of all of their friends and family. Bentley's nightmare is every mans worst fear. The whole morning while eating breakfast and getting ready to meet his parents Bentley was trying to shake that nightmare, but it kept getting to him. To him something just didn't feel right about it, and he had no idea what it was. He's had plenty of gut wrenching feelings before, like the time in the State Championship game his number was called for the final play that won them the game, but nothing quite this strong. It felt almost like a premonition.

"Mom, dad, where are you guys at?" Bentley shouted as he entered his parents house. He wanted to meet up with his parents to go over the plans for the wedding and reception. Although they went over the plans during rehearsals he still felt that he would somehow mess up. So he wanted to do a quick run through so that he would be well prepared and not screw things up. Especially since he had that nightmare, he wanted to make sure everything went perfectly smooth. "Hey, honey we're in the kitchen" his mother shouted back. Bentley followed the aroma of bacon all the way to kitchen to where his parents were. His dad was sitting at the kitchen table reading the morning paper with a cup of orange juice while his mother was standing at the stove frying bacon. "Mom, dad, when you guys got married did you have like a gut feeling something was going to go wrong?" Bentley asked his parents. His parents could definitely hear the concern in voice, but his mother just chuckled a bit as she answered him. "Oh honey, yes, its just nerves. I was a nervous wreck the day your father and I got married. I thought I didn't look pretty enough and he would take one look at me coming down the aisle and jet out of the church but he didn't. Look at us now, we've been happily married for 21 years and God blessed us with you and your sister." Mr. Riggs sat the morning paper down on the kitchen table as he looked up at his son with a half smile and said; "Son, just as your mother just said, its nothing but nerves. On our wedding day I was just as nervous as she was if not more nervous. I was so nervous she had found someone more rich and handsome than me and was going to leave me standing at the alter looking like a fool in front of all our friends and family." Bentley looked a bit relieved as he began to tell his parents about his dream that was far from a happy ending fairytale. "Mom, Dad, thank you guys so much for that, I really needed it. Especially after the dream I had last night. I dreamt Michelle left me at the alter and I don't know something about that dream just feels so real. Like, this epic feeling of doom and I can't shake it. I've been thinking about it all morning. It really has me stressing." With an understanding look on both his parents face his mother said, "Son, just pray and trust in God that everything's going to workout. 'Cause baby everything's going to workout I promise you." His mother leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Bentley was waiting for his dad to give a response; however, his dad just shook his head in agreement with his mother.

After the talk with his parents and going over the wedding plans, it was almost noon and Bentley needed to get to the wedding venue to begin getting ready. The wedding was set to take place at 2pm at The Pavilion. When Bentley arrived at The Pavilion he was blown away at the way they had made Michelle's dream wedding come to life. The way the place was set up it was so magical it looked as though it could have been a Disney princess's wedding. They had strings of lights all throughout the venue, white flower petals all over the place, and white drapes draping from the ceiling throughout the place. Bentley was so impressed that he just knew nothing could go wrong now as he finally began to feel excited. He was anxious to marry the woman of his dreams.
