The Date

During that 3-day span leading up to their date it was busy for the both of them. Bentley had to rehearse lyrics for the show while Raelynn was busy trying to find a bar to book her next gig. It was a stressful time frame for the both of them but they still managed to keep up with each other texting throughout the days. They were doing the whole usual "talking" thing that you would do before dating someone. It was going fairly well too. The both of them were both starting to fall for the other, yet neither of them had yet admitted how they felt. The night before their big date they decided to FaceTime each other. While they were on FaceTime they talked about the date. They talked about what they should wear. They talked about their day. They even talked about the week ahead of them. Raelynn was even asking how ready he was for his show, trying to be his hype man. She was excited for him. They talked all night that night before both of them fell asleep on each other.

The morning of the date Bentley woke up smiling ear to ear. He couldn't wait to see Raelynn's beautiful face later that night. It also occurred to him that they had both fallen asleep with each other on FaceTime last night and it made his smile grow even bigger. For Raelynn she woke up eager to get the day started. She had to go get her nails done as well as her hair. She wanted to make sure she was looking her best for their date. She knew that she didn't really have to do all that because Bentley was still interested in her but she still wanted to look her best. She wanted to make sure her looks matched her personality so she knew for sure that had him under her smell. All in all, both of them were nervous. Bentley was nervous because it was the first date he had, had since the date he went on when he first met his fiancé. Raelynn was nervous for her own reasons obviously. Bentley would have been her first date since her bad break-up with her ex. She was also nervous because she didn't know if Bentley was being sly, just trying to get her to fall for him. She feared that she would fall head over heels for him, they would have sex, and then he would never call again. She wanted to believe Bentley wasn't as bad as the tabloids were painting him out to be, but it was still there in the back of her mind.

That afternoon, Raelynn went and got her nails done and while she was getting her nails done Bentley was sending her cute text. "I can't wait to see you tonight beautiful." "I can't stop thinking about you." With every text she got the more Raelynn began to blush. The nail stylist noticed her blushing and decided to strike up a conversation. "Somebody's got you blushing mighty hard today. Must be a hot date." Said the nail stylist. Raelynn just looked at her and smiled while saying "In fact yes ma'am it is a hot date. This is what these nails are for." The stylist just looked at her and shook her head. "Ahh I see. Well now I know exactly what I must do to these nails of yours." The stylist said. After an hour of Raelynn sitting there letting the stylist do her nails she was finally finished. The stylist had given her a pretty simple, and basic nail job. It wasn't too complex. They were clear squares with basic white tips. "That should do the trick." The stylist said as she let Raelynn know that she was finished. Raelynn was thrilled with the outcome. She loved the fact that the stylist kept it simple and didn't make them to complicated. Raelynn paid the stylist and left thanking her for her work the whole way out the door as she went to her next appointment; her hair.

At her hair appointment the hair stylist asked her what she wanted to do with her hair. Raelynn didn't know what she wanted to with her hair but she knew that she wanted to keep it like her nails, simple not to complex. "I don't know what I want to do with my hair. I'm not sure if this will help you make a decision for me but I have a date tonight." Raelynn said as she answered the stylist. The stylist just smiled as she knew exactly what to do. "Well honey, I got you, I know exactly what to do." The stylist said to Raelynn. After 2-hours of sitting in the salon chair the stylist finally spun Raelynn around to face the mirror to show her the finished result. "Tada." The stylist said as she spun the chair around. Raelynn looked in the mirror and she was blown away. The stylist had cut her hair just below her shoulders and dyed it a brighter blonde than it already was with black highlights to make it pop. The stylist had even done the most beautiful loose curls that Raelynn had ever seen. Needless to say Raelynn was in love with her make-over.
