Oh No Baby!

Six weeks after the fan fest everything between Raelynn and Bentley continued to grow even stronger and stronger everyday. Bentley was even the first one to say "I love you" making it more believable that Raelynn surely did have him under a spell. During that time Raelynn even flew out to California with Mike to sign her one-year deal with Warner Bros. Records. They gave her a year to write new music to record and once she recorded the music she had a year for a trial run to see if she could produce enough revenue to stay in the industry. Raelynn was wasting no time as she had been writing music everyday since signing her contract. Bentley was all so excited for her as he told her that he would feature on one of her songs to make sure she brought in the revenue to stay a part of the record label. During that time Bentley also began working on writing new music himself. He wanted to feature Raelynn on a bunch of his new music to help draw attention to her so that's what he was doing. He also had established the foundation to help single mothers in need because he was heartbroken over Raelynn's best friend Cassidy's situation.

After creating the foundation in order to help single mothers like Cassidy he also wanted to do something else to help Cassidy he just didn't know what. He was hell-bent on helping her because it was Raelynn's friend and Raelynn was always trying to take care of her so he wanted to help. Today he woke up and it hit him. He knew exactly what he needed to do. He remembered that six weeks ago Raelynn told him doctors thought Skylar had a severe case of anemia and might need a bone marrow transplant but neither her nor Cassidy were matches. So Bentley began to think what if he was a match. He called the doctors office and planned a visit to have his bone marrow checked for the possibility of being a match. "Hey, I would like to schedule an appointment to have my bone marrow checked for a possible match for a friend of mine." Bentley said to the receptionist at the doctor's office. "Well we have an availability today at 2pm if you can make that." The receptionist said. "Actually, that's perfect, I'll be there. My name is Bentley Riggs" Bentley said.

That morning Raelynn woke up feeling nauseous as she rushed to the toilet to vomit. She just brushed it off as she kept on with her morning until she got sick again after eating breakfast. After she puked again she went and crawled back in bed thinking it was just a stomach virus, but as she laid down she didn't feel sick anymore. So, she got up and went on about her day as usual, she went to the gym and got a good workout in before going to the grocery store by groceries for dinner later that night.

2pm came and Bentley found himself sitting inside a doctor's office waiting to have his bone marrow checked. Bentley was nervous because he wanted so bad to help Skylar out. While he was sitting there nervously waiting Bentley had a thought that ran through his mind was what if he wasn't a match, how could he find Skylar a match. He wanted to do all this without Cassidy or Raelynn finding out because Cassidy for some reason absolutely hated him and he had no idea why. "Mr. Riggs the doctor is ready for you now." The nurse said as she came into the waiting room to call Bentley back. Bentley got up and followed her down a long hallway to a room with a bunch of medical electronic gadgets where she left him patiently waiting sitting on the hospital bed.

A few moments later after sitting in the room alone there was a knock at the door as the doctor entered. "Hey Mr. Riggs, I'm Dr. Downey, I see you're in here to see if you are a match for a friend." Dr. Downey said looking at Bentley's chart. "Yes sir, my girlfriend's best friends kid may need a bone marrow transplant and neither of them were matches so I'm here to test my chances. I've had my bone marrow checked in the past, don't know if that helps or not." Bentley said looking at Dr. Downey. "Actually, that does help. It means we can get the results back today we'll just need to check your blood to see if your previous results still match up. By the way what's the kids name?" Dr. Downey asked as he was sitting the clipboard down to reach in a cabinet to pull out a needle and some capsules to hold Bentley's blood. "His first name is Skylar, and I'm not sure what his last name is but his mothers name is Cassidy. I didn't ask before coming in here because if I'm a match I'd like this to be a surprise. Plus, Cassidy isn't my biggest fan right now." Bentley said as Dr. Downey stuck the needle into one of his veins drawing out blood. "Ah yes, Skylar Brooks. I know exactly who this is for. I will try and hurry to get the match and let you know something." Dr. Downey said as he was placing labels on Bentley's blood capsules. Before walking out of the room Dr. Downey turned back and said one last thing to Bentley. "You know what you're doing is amazing. Not many people are selfless enough to come in here to help another person in need out so Mr. Riggs I applaud you for that. I will be back shortly." He said as he closed the door behind him.
