Eraserheads POV (It's really hard to do his)I squeezed the kid's shoulder to try and comfort him, the kid had started to slow down and look a bit pale. I guess he's worried what his mother will say, if he wasn't out late none of this would have happened anyways. Bakugo's parents had a nice car, it was clean and the latest model, an easy way to flaunt their money it seems. Not like he is against that, I always has the latest model of things as it just works better than the last, especially the coffee machines. He was glad the kid was alright now, he really didn't have time to search further in the kids records if there was anything bad so he is grateful it's all fine.
I gestured for his mother to walk with me to have a quick chat. It's mandatory that pro-heros offer counselling after an event, it's to raise the spirits of the public apparently. Like a "Hey you might have nearly died but here is a random person to prove we help you!" Yeah. It's shit. Nonetheless he had to do it, The kid seemed pretty numb to it all so he wasn't sure how well it would work.
"Hello Mrs Bakugou, due to the events that happened it is mandatory that Bakugo attends some counselling sessions with our personal counsellor, He is called Hound Dog and is a certified Hero and therapist. Your son will be in good hands."
I explained, putting the end bit in as usually the victims parents are quite hesitant with letting the kids go, he knew he would have to give more information about it for her to allow it, they always do. He would do the same if he had a child, but he doesn't so it didn't concern him as much.
"Yeah that's fine, what day and time"
"Uh...right it'll be wednesday around 3:30 so as to not mess with his school times."
"Okay, is that all?"
I gave her a small nod and she stormed back to her car, getting in and driving off quickly, maybe she had to skip work or something to pick him up, which was understandable but still, it's your son lady, chill. Shaking my head I walked back into the school to get myself a well deserved coffee. He would ask Hound Dog how the kid was doing on Wednesday.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The car journey home was a nightmare, Mitsuki was dead silent, instead giving him quick looks of disgust, it was as if she could see right through him and she knew what happened, it was impossible though, she didn't know. The houses went by quickly, soon replaced with more expensive apartments and housing complexes, they had always been well off, not like they spent any of that money on him however. He didn't think of this as a bad thing though, he was independent and if he needed money he would have to get a job, not rely on his parents for things.
"You'll be going to that school on wednesday after school at 3:30, I won't drive you."
It was so silent that it had made him jump when she first spoke. She sounded calm, but her eyes always held something he was afraid of, disgust. It was monday today so he had a day to prepare and research what therapy actually was and how to get out of it, he didn't even know how he was going to get there in 30 minutes. He would have to run, he guessed.
"Okay. Thank you."
First rule of not upsetting Misuki? Always be polite
"What did you just say?"
"I said okay"
"'Okay' what"
He looked at her confused, he hadn't said anything else, he was about to announce that before her hand made contact with his face, eyes prickled with tears as the stung spread across his face, he looked away from his mother, not wanting to let the tears fall.
"When you talk to me. You use your manners. DID I, OR DID I NOT TEACH YOU THAT KATSUKI?!"
A sigh escaped her lip as she caressed her son's face. He was a smart boy, just didn't listen, but she would make him. He would follow along soon enough, he would be the perfect boy, one she could be proud of. He just needed her help, and if doing this would help him than so be it, he knew she loved him really, a little slap is nothing.
"Go downstairs for the rest of today" She said with a fond smile on her face, putting her sons back before walking away.
That was a scary day, he was used to what she said, but the fact that she smiled and patted his back, that was what scared him, the glazed look in her eyes and the soft expression on her face was what had made him learn.
"Good boy."
He looked away at that comment, she had always talked to him like a dog, it was almost like that's how she got control of him. Maybe he should have a leash and collar as well, that would give the whole aesthetic of being a dog, well it would be a bit illegal, Not like his mother actually cared about legal stuff, he was sure there were some sort of child protection laws, he digressed, it's not like he actually cares, all of this helped him be better, he wouldn't lie about that.
When they got home the mood changed. She became snappy and persistent, nagging her son to everything which is in his ability. Eventually he managed to get some peace and quiet and finally went to bed or the day he could deal with tomorrow as it came.
