" yo " tana picked up his phone as he pulled into his driveway.

" hey taneal, how are you? " he heard his grandma may.

" i'm straight, why wassup? "

" well serena had said she hadn't heard from you in a long time so i just wanted to check up on you "

" i'm fine grandma " he got out of the car and locked the doors before stepping into his house.

" well i'm cooking today for the family if you wanted to stop by and bring that girl serena told me about "

tana looked at the phone, scrunching his face up and put the phone back to his ear. he knew his whole family would be over there and he didn't too much fuck with all them people. he knew his mom didn't either.

he was also annoyed that serena had told their grandmother his business.

" i'll think about it, what time? " he kicked his shoes off by the door. once he sat on the couch he heard nails across the hardwood floor and his dogs ran in front of him wagging their tails.

" well the food should be done around 7 "

" i'll see "

" alright tana be safe, love you "

" love you too "

tana hung up the phone and blew out a breath. he got up and walked into the kitchen seeing his dog's food bowls were empty. he filled them both up along with the water bowls. after they finished eating he let them out into his spacious backyard.

nobody knew where tana lived except his sister and his mom. his 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house was apart of a neighborhood but it was more ducked off than the other houses, you had to drive down a long road further in the neighborhood to get to it.

he loved his privacy and he loved being alone which he is why he picked it. he had a gate out front that could either be opened with a code or from a app on his phone. he didn't trust anybody.

after letting the dogs back inside they laid beside tana who sat on the couch. he lit his blunt and then facetimed aria waiting for her to answer. it was around 4 in the afternoon but he knew how she liked to nap so he hoped she was up.

" hello? " aria answered and tana could hear a machine running in the background.

" wassup, what you doing? "

" making a few swimsuits, there's a gallery coming up in a few months and a lot of major fashion designers are going to be there so i want to use my best work "

" that's wassup, what you gon be doing later? "

" um probably nothing, my sister at my dad house and she won't be back until monday. why did you have something in mind? "

" my grandma cooking for my family and shit and i wanted to see if you was tryna slide through with me "

tana heard the machine stop and he couldn't see her face but he knew what expression she held which made him chuckle.
