" okay i got my toiletries, i got my swimsuits, i got my bonnet, what am i missing? " i stood in the middle of my room as i was packing my suitcase.

i was packing for my trip with tana. i decided to go to cancun and we leave tomorrow morning so i was trying to make sure i had everything.

i had just got my hair done in 32 inch boho braids since we were staying for a week i didn't want to have to worry about switching wigs.

i doubled checked my small bag with all my hair stuff before putting it in my suitcase. my phone started to ring so i sat down on my bed to answer it, coco jumping up on the bed soon after.

" hello? "

" you done packing? " i looked at tana through the screen and smiled.

" yeah i think so, i just gotta go to the store and grab and few things and then drop coco off at deja's. what about you? "

" yeah i been done, im finna make a few drops then ima be out yo way "

" okay, see you when you get here drive safe "

he chuckled looking at me, " aight "

i shook my head and hung up.

i was about to double check my suitcase when my phone rang. looking at the caller id i seen it was my sister.

" hello? " i placed the phone to my ear.

" hello? aria? "

" yeah riyah wassup? "

" i know you bout to leave but can you take me to your friend deja's? daddy and mom arguing and throwing stuff i don't wanna be here "

i shook my head, " yeah i'm coming, have your stuff packed when i get there "

" okay thanks "

we said our goodbyes and hung up. i sent tana a quick text along with deja just to make sure it was okay for my sister to stay over there and she said it was.

i figured i would drop coco off and go to the store while i was out so i threw on some light washed jean shorts and my pink skims tank top. i put on my pink converse and grabbed my black gucci wristlet before going out into the living room to grab coco's things.

once i had everything i made my way out the door.

" YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT " i heard as i knocked on my dads door right before heard glass breaking.

the door opened after about a minute and riyah was standing there with a small cut on her head.

" what happened? she hit you? "

" she threw a plate and it accidentally hit me "

" okay go get yo stuff "

she nodded and ran up the stairs as i walked more into the house.
