Wanda's New Love

Chapter 9 - Wanda

I sat on the bed once I got rid of Monica, seeing Monica put everything into perceptive for me. I could keep doing this I can't keep Loki trapped here just because I love him, it's wrong. I looked up at him as he walked into the room and put his arm around me.

"It will be okay my love, I promise" He said to me in his comforting voice but that didn't help me at all.

"What if it won't be okay, I need to fix this" I hurriedly rushed off away from him.

I admit I felt bad for suddenly leaving him like that but I needed to right the wrong i did. I rushed outside and looked at the red hex surrounding the town. I need to let go, I need to move on and live my life without him. What good will it do me if I keep him locked up here forced to live a fake life with me. Once he knows the truth he will hate me, then I will lose him for good and I can't have that, he's my world, my love, my one person I want but he's dead and I should have kept him dead.

I made my way to the town square and looked around at the people around me who were begging to be freed, scared and hurt because of what I did to them. I feel so guilty, why did i let my grieve get the better of me? Why let myself loose control? This is what helped me make my decision, I have to let go. I have to lower the hex or at least break it so I can say my goodbyes to him.

I moved to the middle of the town square where it was central to the hex. I saw Loki running to me but I ignored his shouting as I screamed letting my magic start to break the seal, my magic going from me into the hex to destroy it. My body getting weak and my eyes going red as he kept going to do enough so that it will break on it own.

I collapsed to the floor and Loki caught me, he muttered something about taking me home. All i remember is him carrying me back to our home before I passed in his arms....
