I don't know any names of any of the flowers in avatar so I'm gonna have to improvise 😭

You were supposed to be helping kiri out with collecting herbs but instead you were training with Neteyam, as your older brother he always has to teach you a lot of stuff.

"Just like that" Neteyam said as you shot an arrow at a viperwolf "I've never hunter a viperwolf before" you say smiling at him
"Well now you have" he says walking towards it
While he's getting the arrow out of the whimpering creature your ears twitch to the sound of leaves crashing. You turn around to see spider
"Hi spider!" You walk up to him
"Y/n! I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to the mountain (by mountain he meant the place you always hang out at together)
You turn to Neteyam for a sign of approval and he nods, that mountain was harmless so no need to worry "okay!" You giggle as you walk with spider

"Here we are, finally" spider says out of breath, since he's human climbing tires him out more
"Yeah, look!" You say shocked at the sight of your favorite flower, it has a few of you favorite colors on it and its texture was really soft
"No way! These are too rare" spider says tagging along
You pluck out the flower to get a better look at it as you sit down

You heard your ikran start to fly away so you wave to it
"Hey, I wanted to ask you something" he says sitting next to you now
"Yeah?" You respond
"What would you do if hypothetically someone had feelings for you" he tries to avoid eye contact
"Well, to me it depends on the time and the person" you say caressing the flower
"Oh..." he starts to get lost in thought
"But why are you asking this?" You turn to him
He immediately snaps out of his train of thought "um. I don't know" he bluntly responds

"Spider, do you... like me?" Is all you said before you heard a growl behind you

"Oh shit" you whisper-yelled
A viperwolf was growling at you both
"I thought this area was harmless?" He yells
"I thought so too" you respond getting your bow and an arrow
He gets his too
Both aiming at the creature

Most of the time neteyam or your parents would hunt the animals so being in a situation with no one to save you if you messed up was really nerve wracking
"Just stay calm" you whisper as you aimed your bow and arrow
You take a deep breath
And release it along with the arrow
You pierce it right through its heart
"That's what I'm talking about" you start celebrating at your brand new achievement

"Thank you" he says
"Of course spider, I could never let something happen to you" you respond
Looking at him one last time before going to pick up the arrow
"It's getting dark, do you think we should leave now?" He says
"Are you crazy? This is the most beautiful time" you look at him with a smile
This is the time where you can see the bioluminescence
"Oh you're right" he smiles back

As you're walking together down the mountain admiring the plants
"Hey spider so about what we were talking about earlier" you start
"I don't want to pressure you or anything but is it true?" You continue
"Yes" he looks up at you

At first he was all shy and now he looks confident

You stop walking and stare at his glowing brown eyes

"Spider..." you whisper as he takes your hand
"It's okay if you don't feel the same" he interrupts you
"No, I like you too" you avert your eyes at an attempt not to look at him

You can practically hear him smile as he pulls you into a long embrace
But this doesn't last long as you start hearing animals
"We should go" you say as you start calling your ikran
You and him both get on and go home.

Once you arrive you receive a look from your mother as your brother Lo'ak starts talking
"The two love birds are back finally" he teases you
You giggle a little bit but spider rolls his eyes an walks to his bed
You can tell your mother doesn't like the idea even though she literally mated with a human but you couldn't care less
