Chapter 7: Brookstone

No one pov: Misako had driven the bounty back to city it was a messed up sight in her opinion, smoke filling the sky,water puddles everywhere,a ginormous mountain that covered the entire city,fire on trees and bushes,and the power was out. People were mumbling things while rebuilding a chunk of the city there were quite a few buildings missing and only some were looking slightly better just how angry were the ninja when they saw the city? "Who exactly are we going to talk to next?" Wu walked up to misako and asked "we are going to pay a little visit with coles father and see if he knows anything." Her tone of voice held slight fear that Lou wouldn't want to help his son but this was an urgent matter involving his mental state and the sake of ninjago. Once they reached a certain corner of the city everyone except for Wu stayed on board they had all decided that Wu would be the best one to convince Lou to come join us in the battle of helping the ninja. A minute passed and Wu had come back with a very stressed out father following behind him turns out Lou was more concerned about Cole than the city when Cole was younger he was barely home and was often out dancing with his friends it was to late to realize that his son had matured at the age of 8 missing out on the fun of being a child. His childhood involved nothing but cleaning around the house and spending as much time with his mother before she died on her bed one day it was a rough day for Cole and his dad but his dad had been distracting himself from his wife's death while cole cried in his bed sometimes when he was alone. Lou had decided that if he was going to make it up to his son by saving him from depression it will be a hard battle but he's determined to help his son through it no matter what. "I'm human now there's no need to mention that anymore we must focus on the task at hand if we want ninjago to be safe." Wu was deep in thought ninjago had survived many villains but the ninja were the ones who defeated them. He never thought that in a thousand years they would be the villains it confused him on how such innocent and kind souls would do such things to a city and the people inside it. I mean sure he understood why they were angry at the city's people but attack them? Now that was a whole other level of hate that he had never seen before. But he has his friends along with him and they are all very determined to get their children back but there was just one more house they should visit...or should I say junkyard?
