Chapter 14:A parents love

No one pov: At first he didn't believe his eyes,his dad and the other parents were yelling at his friends while they were destroying the city. His father caught glance of him and ran towards the icy section of the city and once he was a few feet away from where his son was flying he started to speak, "Hi son it's been a while huh? I was hoping we could meet on better circumstances but I guess this'll have to do. Wu told me everything that happened and I can't imagine all that pain you've had to go through and I can also agree why you would want to switch sides but do you remember the reason you were built? I once
told you that you were built to protect those who cannot protect themselves and it was true but you were built for so much more reasons that I could go on and on about. So listen to these words son,violence is never the answer to resolve something through these past months that's all you've ever known but do you remember how you protected these people? How Wu was proud of you and your friends he loved you and your kindness,your bravery,your dedication, it's what shapes your personality and it's helped you come through a long way so please,why not go back to caring son I once had?" Zane dropped to his knees and started crying he jumped himself onto his father while blue cyan tears streamed down his face "shh it's alright son,I forgive you let's hope that you're friends will be convinced okay? But for now you need some rest" he placed Zane on a nearby bench and watched him go to sleep Wu had walked up to them and gestured the doctor to get on the bounty with Zane. Their plan was that after they had convinced every ninja to come back they would head back to the monastery and maybe a hospital if they used their elemental powers so over the limit that they had to be hospitalized.

Cole was overjoyed watching his powers erupt from the ground and up into buildings it was a feeling he had never felt before. Behind him was his father who looked hurt by his sons actions his mother wouldn't have wanted this for him and now,since he's the father of the elemental master of earth it's his responsibility to help his son see the light again. "Son please stop!" Cole turned around and his eyes widened in surprise as his father was looking at him with a desperate expression hoping his plan would work. "Hey there son,how've you been doing? I'm guessing not so great considering the circumstances were in right now" he slightly chuckled at his change to lighten the mood before continuing he just hoped that he would choose his words wisely. "Anyway,I've come here to talk to you and hopefully get you out of whatever dark path you're mind is going through. Listen son,I know it's been hard these past few months with villains everywhere and the pressure on your shoulders must be hard to handle and when our minds are under pressure the person starts doing things that they think are right like attacking the people they must protect. I know it's hard for you but you're not alone you have friends you don't have to follow them into this path this isn't what your mother would've wanted for you! You promised her that you would stand up to those who were cruel and unjust is this what she wanted? Look at those people over there they're all scared and afraid of you this isn't what your heart is telling you to do that's your brain suggesting things that you shouldn't do if you can't control it then listen to my voice and focus on what you're heart is telling you. With that being said come with me you need rest I'm surprised you were able to use your elemental powers for this long." Cole slowly walked to his father and when he was right in front of him,he passed out. "*sigh* I should've known this would happen I suppose I should get him to the bounty and-" "Lou! Is Cole alright?!" Wu ran towards them and looked at Cole feeling concerned "he's fine he just needs rest now where's the bounty?" The old man pointed behind him and a few feet away was the bounty Lou immediately picked up his son and started running towards the bounty desperate to get him to a bed.

Jay was extremely happy sending bolts and electrical shocks through the city it was a pretty sight for him. Behind him were his adoptive parents looking at him feeling hurt that their son was capable of causing so much destruction in just an hour Edna would be the one who would convince Jay to calm the hell down because he was just full on overusing his elemental power and if he continued any further he would be exhausted by the time he realized how much power he had used. Edna took a step closer to her soon that was now in the sky firing electricity everywhere his eyes desired it was so concerning that wu even looked at him from a distance fearing the worst. "Jay! Stop it this instant!" Edna had yelled at Jay to stop and it caught his attention and he turned around to see his adoptive mom and dad he felt slightly upset thta they ruined his fun but chose to turn around anyway. "Hello there again dear,how's your relationship going with Nya? Have you proposed yet?I'm guessing not considering you've been busy with whatever beauty you see in this chaos you've created, why are you doing this Jay? This isn't what your mom or dad wanted you to turn out! What happened to the little happy boy I once met? This isn't your Jay please stop causing destruction to the city! If you want me and my husband will keep you away from everyone until you have a clear head just please....stop fighting" Jay looked at her dumbfounded before flying towards her and lunged himself onto her crying violently it was to much for him to cause anymore destruction. Ed joined in on the hug till Jay had fallen asleep limp in their arms feeling a pain in his arm "poor thing...you think he's okay?" Just then Wu had ran to jays side and started at his arm "get him on the bounty immediately he's used to much elemental energy his arm is lifeless!" Ed and Edna ran as fast as they could while carrying their son to the bounty where Cole and Zane were also asleep. Wu feared that this would happen to one of them he just hoped that none of the other ninja were injured like Jay.

Just a little explanation before you read the next part. If you're confused on what happened to Jay or didn't understand, he used to much of his power and his arm got injured and it only worsened as he continued to use it. The only other ninja that got badly injured is Kai and Lloyd.

Kai's arms were on fire while he was constantly using his fire powers to burn anything his eyes dwelled on his father ray,was looking at him with an uneasy feeling that his plan wouldn't work he could only hope that Kai would listen because he noticed both of his sons arms were on fire and Kai was to busy having fun to notice the pain that was begging him to stop. "Kai! Stop using your powers this instant!" "Dad?! I thought you-" "Listen to me,I want you to focus on your hands stop using your powers and look at your hands look what you're doing to yourself!" Kai took a moment before flying down on the road that was empty except for the smoke and flames that were everywhere he looked at his hands and widened in fear as the pain finally settled in his dad was in front of him and looked at his sons arms not knowing what to do with the current situation, luckily maya and Nya had arrived on time and saw what Kai was screaming and crying about Nya immediately used her water powers to put out the fire on her brothers hand. Maya ran to her son and hugged him as she waited for him to stop screaming in pain so she could bring him back to the bounty where his friends were "Kai? Can you hear me it's me your mom everything's going to be okay I promise as long as me and your dad are here no one will be able to harm you or tell you anything harmful if you could try and fall asleep so I can get you back to the bounty where you friends are that would be wonderful can you sleep for mommy?" He let out a slow nod before falling asleep his head on her shoulders the last thing he heard before he blacked out was Wus concerned voice.

Nya refused to fall asleep knowing her brother was in this condition and they still needed to find Lloyd and bring him home "where's Lloyd?" Ray had questioned Wu "he's...not doing so well at the moment he's currently at the bounty being supervised by my brother his arms and head were both hurting when we found him it's unfortunate that Jay and Kai had suffered the same fate as him but we need to get you all in the bounty and head home before anything else happens." "Right!" Maya and ray both helped each other pick up their som while Nya took wus hand feeling guilty and about all the damage she had caused but she didn't have time to think further as she was already on the bounty inside the bunker. Each of her friends layed into their beds with their parents watching them looking exhausted from their sudden magic use Lloyd,Jay,and Kai were the ones who looked worse than the other ninjas it would take a while for them to heal but all she could do was hope her brother and friends would wake up soon.
