You wake up in the morning and you hear Darren's light snore that he's had since uni. You smile and quietly slip out of his arms. You walk into the kitchen and see some post on the mat by your door, you yawn and go over to pick it up. Bills. Bills. Bills. Junk. Junk. Oh wait. You see a baby pink piece of paper with some scruffy writing on.

'I saw you and your little boyfriend at the door last night. Well well well Y/N. I wonder what the paps will have to say about Darren cheating on his other girlfriend in NY. Play your cards right'

You swallow hard and then just clear your throat and put the note in your junk drawer. Darren didn't have another girlfriend. Or did he? You go back into the kitchen and start making breakfast trying to forget about the note. You were so busy you didn't even hear Darren walk into the kitchen.

"Morning" he says and you jump. "ohmygod" you say and then turn to face him "woah, i'm sorry" he says and then kisses your cheek, but you pull away. He frowns "What's wrong?" he asks and sits on your kitchen counter "nothing..." you lie and then pass him a pancake which he takes and starts eating.

You open the rest of your post and then pin up one of the bills that you had. You didn't have that much money and you couldn't afford all of the bills. You didn't open one as you knew it was a final demand for your electricity bill. "you forgot one" Darren points to the letter. "Yeah, it's nothing important" you say.

He smiles and you sit down. You needed to know about this other girlfriend. "so, did you find anyone else while filming glee?" you ask and he looks at you confused "What?"

"I mean like, I dated other guys, did you date other girls?" You ask and he shakes his head "nope, been single" he says. You knew he was lying, he's had the same guilty face for ages. "You're lying" you said and looked at him.

"What does it matter? It was a fling, I don't even see her anymore" he shrugs "What was her name?" you ask "I said it didn't matter, we weren't dating and i don't see her anymore"

"Was she a model? Was she better than me? Or was it that you were lonely?" you ask "Y/N. Where is this coming from?" he asks. "Because you're still dating her aren't you? You come here like everything is okay, like nothing ever happened but you're still dating her" you say and stand up "I'm not gonna fall for you again. what happened last night was a mistake. now I'd appreciate it if you leave" you said and walk out the kitchen leaving a confused Darren sat with a half eaten pancake in his hands.
