Jordan stopped by to pick me up and I was glad I decided to wear a white corseted mid thigh length sundress with my favorite pair of black skinny jeans I had gotten from old navy. It was a bit chilly today so I grabbed my hoodie and gloves and a hat that looked like a panda.

We got to school and Flynn walked over to us. While Jordan and Flynn were talking Jordan gave me the go ahead to try it.

Flynn?

Nothing. Then Jordan grabbed Flynn in a headlock and while they had skin contact I tried again.

Flynn?

He looked up surprised and I looked over at Jordan.

Skin contact. Like my skill. He can hear me with skin contact to you!

I grin and laugh. "You're a negater and a conduit!" I say excitedly and then cover my mouth. Oops. I so had NOT meant to say that out loud.

"Wait. You didn't say half of that out loud so how did I hear that? And what are a negater and a conduit?" He looked baffled. I sigh and look around. No one really nearby. We all go sit by the large willow in the empty courtyard and I tell him everything I knew. About my psychometry and about the telepathy Jordan and I have developed. I'm smiling at the end. I never thought I'd have someone who would listen to what I had to say and not judge me or run screaming. And now I had Jordan and Flynn standing by my side. I didn't deserve them. I never deserved Maxx but I am damn glad I do have them.

We go to class and for the next two weeks everything is great. We've all become a really close knit group and whenever Rhys is around they both gather closer in a protective way and it makes me happy to have people who care. We found out that if me or Jordan touches Flynn he can hear us. So when Rhys walks by during lunch one day about two weeks after his... Advance, they gather me up in their arms protectively as Rhys growls at them and glares at me. I touch both of their hands and thank them.

Thank you both so much. It's more than I deserve or ever thought I would have but to know I have a boyfriend who cares so much and a friend that's like the brother I never got to have... It's been amazing and thank you for everything. I smile at them. Thank you for being here for me.

After school I told Flynn and Jordan that I wanted to walk home. I was gonna go draw them each digital pictures. I pulled out my phone and put my headphones in. I turned on galvanized souls' song carry on and hum along. I'm about halfway home when I hear a screech over my music and a door opening and footsteps coming at me fast but before I can turn around there's a sharp pain in my head and someone growling out "you're mine now." Before I faded into darkness.
