Bellamy's POV
I quickly threw on some jeans and a black shirt. I sorted out my hair then went downstairs and sat on the sofa until the party started.
About 20 minutes later, Clarke came down the stairs. She looked beautiful. She was wearing a tight black dress that fell just above her knee and black heels. She had done her makeup and was wearing bright red lipstick and she had curled her hair. She obviously noticed I was staring because she retorted
"No need to stare, Blake!"
She had a smile plastered across her face because of this and it was one of the most beautiful smiles I had ever seen. When she smiled, her eyes smiled too, sparkling in the light. She came and sat on the sofa next to me.Within a few minutes, Octavia followed wearing a blue dress with sparkly heels. She was also wearing makeup but she had her hair straightened. She also looked beautiful but in a way a sister should, not the way any other girl should. My princess was beautiful all the time. That was the thing, she wasn't my princess. No matter how much I wanted her to be, she wasn't.
Fortunately for me, the doorbell rang which meant that my mind wasn't focused on Clarke, but on the party. We had loads of fun and played games like truth or dare and spin the bottle. In spin the bottle, I never got to kiss Clarke, which was a shame.
I tried to stay quite sober and only had a few drinks but the girls both got really drunk. Everyone started to leave about midnight and Octavia went up to her room. Clarke and I sat on the sofa, talking for about another hour because she refused to go to sleep. She was jabbering on about her family and how her mother wanted her to go out with Wells. Oh, how could I forget Wells? Wells and Clarke had been friends for years and Wells was a nerdy boy. Of course Clarke's mum would want her to date Wells. It was obvious really.
I snapped out of my thoughts when Clarke tapped me on the arm.
"I think I'm ready to go to bed now bell" she slurred
"Okay, come on then Princess." I said as I helped her up off the sofa. She fell to her knees so I picked her up and carried her up the stairs. I was going to put her in Octavia's room when I realised that Octavia only had a single bed. I had a double so I would have to take her into my room. I put her on my bed and went to get her bag out of O's room. When I returned, Clarke was sat staring at the door.
"Are you okay, princess?" I asked. She replied but I didn't understand her.
