Eleanor's POV
We could hear him barking nearby so we knew he hadn't gone far. We were passing by a wall of mirrors when Tintin tried to push down the quiff in his hair but it bounced back up moments later. I silently giggled to myself knowing that his hair was never going to agree with him - but I found it cute and endearing -- although I'd never admit that out loud.
"Snowy!" Tintin began calling out, pulling me from my thoughts. "Snowy!" I joined him.
The dog suddenly came running towards us. I let go of Tintin and we both crouched down to meet our dog.
"There you are!" I rubbed his head. "Where have you been? Huh? Chasing cats again?" Tintin asked him.
"Probably." I chuckled. I continued to pet Snowy when suddenly Tintin froze.
"Tintin?" I asked him, wondering why he stopped. "Ella, look at this." He said, pointing into the mirror.
As we gazed into the mirror, we noticed a stunning model ship on display. It was in immaculate condition, boasting intricate details that caught our attention. Tintin and I turned and approached the display case, leaning down to admire it closer.
"Triple masted." I commented.
"Double decks." He added.
"Fifty guns." I finished.
"Isn't she a beauty?" Tintin sighed, completely enthralled with the ship.
"That's a very unique specimen, that is. From an old sea captain's estate." The man behind the table said to us, noticing our intrigue.
"'The Unicorn.'" Tintin read out, its name proudly displayed on the back of the ship
"--Unicorn' Man o'war sailing ship. It's very old, that is. 16th century--" "17th, I would think." Tintin corrected him promptly.
"Reign of Charles the I--" "Charles II." I corrected him this time, still looking at the ship in awe.
"That's what I said. Charles II. As fine a ship as ever sailed the seven seas. You won't find another one of these, mate." He explained. "And it's only two quid."
