He started lifting El off the floor and I started thinking about what I could do. Everything was going so fast I couldn't really come up with something smart. What would Steve do ?

El started to really struggle as she was begging, but billy wasn't letting go. I looked around and saw the metallic bar. I let go of max and grabbed it.
I used all of my strength as a tear left my eye while I hit Billy's head.

He dropped El and he fell on the floor. I helped El to stand back up, and pushed her over to Mike as I stood in front of Billy. He stood back up and looked right into my eyes.
I punched his face once, and aimed my arm again but he grabbed it firmly, making me whine.

I could see him fighting inside. His eyes were teary. I know he was still in there.

"- Billy." I softly said and he groaned before pushing me on the side.

At this very moment, he started lifting off the floor.

El was holding him up with her powers, blood pouring from her nose as she held her both hands out.
She threw him against a brick wall, and he went through it breaking the wall.

He landed outside in the grass, in a shower of dust and debris. I ran over to the giant hole, and looked at him leaving. He was running away, physically in pain.
I kneeled down, crying all of the emotion out. All of the kids walked towards me and Max kneeled down next to me to hold me in her arms, also crying.

"- It'll be okay, Y/n." She whispered while I sobbed harder.

We were back in Mike's basement. El was blindfolded, trying to find Hopper. He's the one we all really needed right now. Blood was dripping from her left nostril.

"- I found him." She said.
"- Where is he ?" I asked.
"- Woods." She replied.
"- Woods ?" Lucas asked.
"- He's there with ... Will's mom." El added and we looked at Will.
"- My mom ?" he asked alarmed.
"- What are they doing ?" Max asked.

El seemed concerned.

"- Ill ... annoy. They're going to ... Ill-an-noy." She stuttered.

Mike's mom screamed in the stairs and Mike yelled back before asking El.

"- Illinois ? Like the state Illinois ?"

She removed the blindfold and shrugged.

"- Illannoy." She said.

I was in the bathroom, helping El to clean her blood dripping from her nose. She started touching her neck, and I saw the huge bruise Billy has caused her. I sighed and felt a shiver down my spine.

"- Does it still hurt ?" I asked and she looked at me.
"- Only when I talk." She replied and I grinned.

She looked at me and grabbed my hand. I held my eyes in hers and she slightly smiled.

"- Thank you for saving me." She said and I chuckled.
"- Well you saved our asses so many times El, I couldn't leave you there."
"- I know it was hard for you." She said and I shrugged.
"- It's worth it. I know it was the only way." I said and we heard the boys talking outside the bathroom.

We listened to what they were saying as i was applying some cream on Eleven's neck.

« - Something's not right. I can't get Hopper off my back all summer, now all of a sudden he's hiking with Will's mom to Illinois ? And Dustin's MIA too ? I mean this can't be a coincidence. » Mike started to talk and we heard him walk around.
« - Why does it matter ? The bottom line is, they're not here. It's up to us... » Lucas started.
« - Up to us to do what exactly ? » He asked tensing up.

We could hear he was worried. I mean, who wasn't ?

« - Find Billy and stop him. » Lucas replied.

I felt the stress invade my body, as i had trouble to swallow my saliva. I was scared, for Billy. If one of them kills him... I wouldn't be able to stay alive myself.

They continued arguing as El was watching me taking care of her. Once done, I smiled at her and stroked her hair.

« - What are they still doing in there ? » Mike asked making us giggle.
« - Girls just like hanging out in bathrooms. » Lucas replied
« - Why ? » Mike asked annoyed.

They started again to argue and when burst out laughing our asses off with El. They were so cute. Really stupid teenagers.

« - You guys realize they can hear everything you're saying right ? I bet they're making fun of your asses. » Max said opening the bathroom door.

We were chuckling together, and we waved at the boys. We got out and sat together again before we heard a knock.

« - Not now mom ! » Mike screamed.
« - Mike, open the door. » Nancy's voice echoed behind the door.

We all looked at each other and Mike ran to open the door. his sister and her boyfriend Jonathan entered the room.

« - Nancy ? » I asked looking at her.
« - Thank God Y/n you were here with them. » Nancy said giving me a hug.

I awkwardly patted her back, as the girl who broke my brother's heart was hugging me. How weird.

« - It was the same thing. The exact same thing that happened to Will last year. » Nancy said holding out Mrs Driscoll's medical chart.
« - And look at this. Look at the body temperatures. » She said pointing it out.

I looked at it, and turned my head to look at Will.

« - He likes it cold. » Will affirmed.
« - Billy's body was also cold. » I said remembering his touch.
« - Okay so, this crazy old woman who are fertilizers... Mrs Driscoll, what time was the attack ? » Mike asked his sister.
« - Last night, around nine. » Nancy answered.

We all looked at each other. The same time.

« - So what time was your little ... sauna test ? » She then asked me.
« - Around nine, also. » I responded
« - Well, that proves it. that proves my theory. » Nancy exclaimed.
« - She's flayed, just like ... Billy. » I sighed.

We then started to talk about other people that could also be flayed, when El looked at Max and me.

« - Heather. Billy was doing something to her. She was scared, she was screaming. Bad screams. » El said.
« - What's a good scream ? » Lucas asked
« - The kind Y/n was making with Billy. » Max chuckled and I slapped her arm.
« - Hey. that's not the point. » I said lifting my hands up.
