Our last semester together

CHAPTER 3

"Did you bring everything you need Fluke?"

I look up to Emi, I notice that she has one bag pack and two suitcases.

"That's all yours?!" I asked shocked. She happily nodded and I was speechless.

"You know that we're just staying there for a week, right?!"

"Yeah! But I brought the things I think we'll need there, especially emergency kit!"

I just look at her and didn't say anything. Guess, that's how she is.

"Right! Everything and everyone is complete now. Let's go so we don't get stuck with the traffic."

I search for a seat at the Van and when I saw no one sitting on the window so I go there. I fix myself and ready to take a nap when he sit next to me.

He's been extra quiet this past few days and as much as I enjoy the peaceful time I cant stop thinking what the hell is going on?! After what happened at the library he never talk or even look at me  He even avoid me if he can.

"Hey Ohm! Did you had your breakfast?"

"Hey Emi, no not yet. I'll just eat the venue."

"Is that so... how about you Fluke? I brought some sandwiches. Do you want some?"

"Sure. Thanks Emi!"

"Here." She gave me a one clubhouse sandwich

"This is delicious. Did you make this?"

"Yes! I woke up early and I decided to make some sandwiches to share with all. Glad you like it."

As I enjoying my sandwich I saw him keep glancing on me.

"What?!"

Excuse me?!

"You're the one who keeps glancing over me. Here just take this and leave me alone."

I cut the sandwich in half and handed it to him

"No thanks. I'm not hungr-"

"You're welcome." I just decided to just shove it to his mouth.

The drive took longer than what I have expected so I'm not shock when mostly of us except to the driver fell asleep.

When we arrived few of the students from other schools are already there. Most of them look exhausted just like us.

"Okay guys, let's all go to our rooms first to take a rest, that was a long travel! I'll just call you when dinner is ready. Let's go get the keys."

"This is the set up. They provide only two rooms for us so, Me and Emi will share a room and you two will share the room- hep! before you both say something we can't change it and you will not share a bed so get this key and go to your room. See you later AND please don't fight for a while."

They left us. I glare at him and he just roll his eyes before he walk away. Nice. I'll be having a great week.

"I'm on the window side." I run on that side and place my things on it. I open the balcony and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

"Hello, Mom? I'm fine here. Did you take—"

He just left without saying anything so I decided to unpack my things and take a shower before I take a nap. I should get a lot of rest before the competition.

"Natouch! Hey wake up!"

"Hmm.."

"FLUKE NATOUCH!!!"

"WHAT?!"

"Time to get up! Ms. Sha has been calling us."

I still want to sleep and just skip dinner but I know Ms. Sha will not allow that so with a heavy heart, I went to the bathroom and prepare for the night.

The old monkey already left when I finished so I went downstairs but before I got to the elevator I saw someone. I went closer and when I confirmed it I run to him.

"Phi Singto!!!"

"Nong Fluke!!!!"

"AAAAHHHH!!!"

I hug him tightly and he even sway me a little.

"You're here! For the competition?"

"Yes! How about you?"

He smirk "Well, I'm the 'coach' for our school since the professor can't participate because she's pregnant and since I was the best student I help them."

"Ew. You're still full of yourself."

"HAHAHAHA"

"C'mon! I think our team are already looking for us."

When we arrived at the dinning hall, almost all students are already in their table.

"That's our table Phi. I'll talk to you later?"

"Sure Nong. Enjoy your dinner."

"You too, Phi."

I walked to our table and saw the ugly monkey giving me a death glare.

"What?!"

"We've been waiting for too long. We're already hungry."

"I'm sorry! I saw my senior and we talked a little."

Emi smile at me. "It's okay Fluke. Let's eat since someone has been grumpy here."

"Where's Ms. Sha?" I asked

"Oh, she's on the other table with other professors. Do you need anything? I can call her."

"No. I was just wondering where is she."

The dinner ends quickly since we didn't talk too much. Well in the first place, we aren't close to each other we only talk about school stuff.

"Is this Nong Ohm?!"

"Phi Singto! How's your dinner?"

"It was good. You didn't tell me that Nong Ohm is also here."

"How are you Phi?" He smile at him

Now he's acting "good" in front of our Phi.

"Wonderful! How are you? How's Tita Kat health?"

"Mom is doing well Phi. I know your school will be participating but I didn't know you will be here."

That change of topic was so smooth...

"Oh, I wasn't at the first place but our principal called me and ask if I can coach the students for the competition. I don't have much work this days so I agree."

"It was nice to see you here Phi. If you are not busy let's hang out again."

"That would be great Nong Fluke. My number is still the same. Call me if you both are free, it's on me."

What? With that ugly monkey? No! I'm talking about just the two of us!!

"Sure...Phi. I'll call you."

"Great. I'll go now, I'll see you tomorrow for the first round. Nice to see you Ohmmy."

"Phi!!"

"Don't eat a lot of sweets Flukie."

"Whatever!"

"Just call Phi whenever you want. I don't want to be the third wheel."

"Good. I also don't want you to ruin our day."

He gave me a glare and leave the table and since I don't want to be alone, I leave the hall and went straight to our room which is good since he wasn't here when I arrive.

I took a shower and change to my PJs. I do my skincare. When I decided to sleep, he hasn't come back yet so I wait a little so I can open the door for him but he didn't come back.

I woke up having a little stiff neck from sitting while sleeping and the door is still locked. He didn't sleep here? Where is he?
