Our last semester together

CHAPTER 7

I woke up in a familiar place. It's our room. I look around I found a note and bowl of congee. I get the note and read it.

'Eat the soup and there's also a medicine beside the water, take it after you eat.'

I get my phone and check the time. It's 7 am... Where is he then?

I take the congee and eat, I didn't have my dinner last night that's why I feel hungry. After I ate and take the medicine that Ohm gave I take a bath so I can pack my things. I remember Ms. Sha told us that we'll leave the resort after our competition.

"Fluke?" I heard someone knocking the door. I went closer and peep on the hole of the door. I saw Emi so I open the door for her to enter.

"How are you? Do you still feel dizzy?" I look at her and she's holding a food.

"I feel good now, Emi. Thanks for asking but why are you here?" I asked as I go back to my luggage to pack my clothes.

"I told Ms. Sha that I will join you here to eat our lunch. I pack a lot, I bet you're hungry."

"Lunch? Aren't we leaving now?" I asked shocked. I plan to eat on our way back

"Oh, yes we'll leave today but later.  Ms. Sha decided to leave later at 8 pm, so you can rest for a while."

I was taken aback on what she said. I stand and went closer to her

"But that's our schedule. I can't stay any longer here. I need to go back before the day ends."

She place the food in the table. "But Fluke, you need to rest for a while. The doctor said you are stress and tired that's why your body gave up already."

"Emi I can't! We need to go back to school now. I still need to take my curricular activities!" At this point I'm starting to get panicked. Those activities are important so I can beat Ohm to the top 1 spot!

"I understand Fluke but that's the decision of Ms. Sha."

I nod still in panic 'Fine. I'll talk to her." I walk to the door to leave but Emi stop me

"Fluke..."

"You know how important this to me Emi.. Where's Ohm by the way?" I cross my arms and try to intimidate her

"He.. He left before the sunrise..."

I can't believe. Now it makes me want to leave more.

"See! We need to go back now Emi. I'll rest on weekends." I open the door and leave Emi.

I bet he's taking his curricular activities now. I can't skip even one activity this semester if I really want to beat him. I need to take those spot before I left college. That's my original plan!

"Fluke?" I look behind me when I heard someone called me.

"P"Singto? You're still here?" I asked shocked. I thought they already left! Well they supposed to leave, that's their plan before.

"The students left earlier. I stay for a while for a business."

I nod. Well that's not my problem. My problem now is to convince Ms. Sha to leave the place as soon as possible or else I'll leave them

"Good thing you're now awake. We're so worried when you suddenly lost conscious yesterday."

"I'm okay now Phi. I'll just take a rest on weekend to gain back my energy."

"On weekend? Fluke you need to rest now. You can't abuse your body like that."

I didn't listen to him and continue to search for Ms. Sha. I found her and she's talking to someone. I went close to her and call her

"Ms. Sha we need to leave." I said without any excuses. The person she's talking to look at me and tap Ms. Sha, she just nod.

"Hi Fluke. Good thing you're now okay. Do you feel anything?"

I shake my head "No Ms. Sha, we just need to leave now. I have some priorities back in school."

"Fluke.. can you just take a rest for a while?"

At this point Im just trying to calm myself.

"No Ms. Sha. Please? Can we just leave now?"

Ms. Sha take a deep breath "No, Im sorry Fluke. Take a rest, we'll leave later."

"Fine! I'll just go by myself."

I left and even though shes calling me I didn't turn around.

When I get back to my room, I zipped my bags and left.

I go to the back so they won't see me and stop me from going.

They won't stop me, not now, not at this point!

"Fluke?! Why are you here?!"

Prem hurriedly walk beside me.

"Ohm said that you got unconscious yesterday and the others decided to just go back around 8 PM?!"

Sammy trying to help me walk but I push her arms slowly.

"Im okay Sammy, and yes I lost consciousness yesterday from tiredness but Im okay now. Does Sir Mike arrived?"

"Fluke... you better go home and take a rest! That's what—"

When we're almost reach our room, suddenly Ohm comes up and saw us. He's looking at me directly.

"Natouch? What the hell you doing here? You're supposed to rest for a while!"

He's mad and you can hear it in his voice.

"I need to attend my activities!" The only response I said and tries to go inside the room but he stop me.

"Let's go home."

He holds my hand and drag me out of the room. I tried to take my hand but he's strong so I can't really fight my way out.

"Let me go Thitiwat! Let me go!!!"

"FLUKE!"

He shout at me after we got down from the stairs. No one's around here since mostly of the students are in the second floor.

I got scared because he didn't shout at me ever since.

"Are you really that desperate to beat me that you prioritize your own health over this?! Fluke someone is going crazy because of what happened to you yesterday! Can you just put this aside and take a rest?!"

I gulp, he's now angry and his ears are now red.

"Let's just go home."

I took a step back from him and he look at me like he got hurt.

"I can go home alone. You go back there and study."

Frustrated, he palm his face.

"I went here to file a LOA."

"Why? Something happens to Tita Kat?"

"What?! How did— whatever. It's not for me, that LOA is for you. Ms. Sha ask me to go back here so I can file a LOA for you so your grades wont drop from not attending a class for a while."

I didn't know what to say. I didn't know that.

"Let's go home now hmm? I already told Tita Summer what happened. I bet Mom was already there to calm Tita."

I lost my thoughts until I just felt his hand hold mine.

My draft for this chapter was last October, I got excited to the event that I need to attend that's why I forgot to finish this one. Sorry for not updating, this is a short update though. 😐🥹
