Rhea loved her children.
She may have not been the best mother, since she was unable to protect her kids, but she loved them and her grandchildren more than anything else.
So when two of her grandkids came to her and told her that they needed to stop the Ragnarok, she didn't think twice in agreeing to help them because she didn't want to lose any of her kids(even if she had already lost two but she had a way to get them back).
And here she was, in front of her youngest son while Persephone and Hephaestus, the grandkids who came to her, were stopping the fight that was happening at the moment.
"Zeus" she says serious
"...Mother?" Zeus says in surprise because Rhea had gone to seclusion after what happened with Adamas
"Yes, it is me" Rhea says
"What are you doing here?" he asks confused
"I came to stop you from continuing with this stupidity!" she says and glares at Zeus when he tries to talk "What were you gods thinking of when you decided to annihilate the human race?! Do you want to end up like your father?! You already lost one brother and one son to this tournament and you still want to continue it?! Where did I go wrong in raising you?!" Rhea says furious
"But it was the humans who killed them!" Zeus says and Rhea sighs
"Zeus, we need the humans to continue going on without ending as all the previous generations before this one" Rhea explains "And all these humans did was show that they deserve to live when all of you decided that they should die"
"And what about what they are doing tk their own planet?"
"They just take after those who created them and were supposed to guide them but let their own vanity win" Rhea says looking at Zeus in disappointment "And let's not forget that you will end up killing your own nephews and grandsons with this" she adds
"Grandsons?" Zeus says confused "I know that one of the humans and Beelzebub are Hades' kids since they have the same aura but all my grandkids are just watching the fights" he adds and Rhea looks surprised at Zeus before sighing because of course her own son would forget what he did
"The two are also your grandkids" Rhea says
"Eh? But Hades and Persephone only have two daughters together besides they are divorced"
"Not from Persephone" Rhea says shaking her head but she couldn't totally blame her son since she had also been surprised when Hephaestus told her the story "They were an accident during the punishment you gave one of your sons and....Hades doesn't know about Beelzebub and Nikolas being his kids" she explains
"Punishment...?" Zeus mumbles confused but suddenly opens his eyes in surprise as he remembers that once he punished one of his kids with being turned completely human when they disappointed Hera "Hephaestus?"
"Yes, at the time he was Euphemia Tesla when she met Hades and neither of them had known who the other truly was" Rhea says and Zeus groans
"Even if we stop it now, there have already been people who died for this" Zeus ends up saying and Rhea grins
"Don't worry! I have already a solution for that" Rhea says "Now let's go and see if Hades and his opponent have listened to Persephone and Hephaestus" she adds and Zeus nods before both leave to the arena

"How will we stop the fight?" Persephone asks once they arrive to the watching zone
"Here" Hephaestus says taking a weapon out of his apron "I was supposed to give it to you in your name day but you will need it now" he adds
"OMG! It is so beautiful, Hephi!" Persephone says as she admired the staff Hephaestus made especially for her "But what will I need it for?" she asks confused
"We will stop their attacks and then tell everyone that grandma sent us to stop the fight" Hephaestus says rolling his eyes
"Oh..." Persephone says embarrassed since the answer was obvious "Uhm, who will stop who?" she asks
"You will stop the emperor, since it is spring you aren't strong enough to stop Hades" Hephaestus says and Persephone nods in agreement
With a last look at each other, the two jump in the arena just in time to stop the attacks of Hades and Qin Shi Huang.
"Persephone?! Hephaestus?!" Hades says in surprise not expecting them to appear and stop the fight
"Hmm? Why are you stopping us?" Qin Shi Huang asks
"Grandma sent us to stop this stupid tournament" is Hephaestus' simple answer that made every god look in surprise and confusion to them
"... Hephi are you-"
"Persephone, you ask me if I am on my days and I will take the staff back" Hephaestus says glaring at his sister
"Not my baby!" Persephone says hugging the staff
"Technically it is my baby since I made it" Hephaestus says rolling his eyes
"Semantics" Persephone says waving her hand
"I'm still confused about why you are stopping the fight" Qin Shi Huang says
"Let's just say that most gods are idiots that wish to make a repeat in history" Hephaestus says as he puts his weapon back in the apron
"And not only that" Persephone adds looking at Hephaestus who glares at her
"You said mother sent you to stop the fight" Hades interrupts "But where is she?" he asks
"Talking with father" the two siblings answered at the same time
When Hades was about to ask something else, two new people entered the arena and ran to hug Hephaestus.

"This is resembling a mexican novel" someone from the gods' side comments, most probably a hispanic or american god

"Beelzebub?!" Adamas says from where he had been watching this with the younger god just to realize that said god had disappeared and was right now in the arena

"Isn't that Nikolas Tesla?" Thomas Edison asks surprised to see his contemporary in the arena hugging a god
.
"...Who would have thought that our sweet little sister was actually older than us, a man and a god" Josif comments
"He is still part of the family, no matter what" Milutin adds
"As if I would abandon my favorite Aunt" Dane says looking at his father and uncle
"None of us would ever do it" Marika agrees with her brother being followed by the rest of their family

"Would you look at that? Our little Beelzebub is hugging someone" Lucifer says as he, Lilith, Azazel and Samael watch the tournament from Helheim
"But the question is why is he and that human hugging Hephaestus" Lilith says because Beelzebub never mentioned knowing the older god
.
"Since when is Hephaestus close to a human and one of Helheim's gods?" Artemis asks not expecting to see her brother being hugged by Beelzebub and a human
"Who knows..." Aphrodite says curious to know who those two were to her ex-husband

"Hermes! Am I seeing well?!" Ares asks looking at Hermes
"Yes" Hermes hums, interested on what was happening and why his siblings and grandma had really decided to stop the Ragnarok

"Hilde-nee-sama! Is this part of your plans?!" Geir asks worried
"No..." Brunhilde mumbles not understanding what the hell was happening
