"That was... wow..." Seungcheol chuckled. "He just walked away... I don't even know what to say to this..."
"That's just the way Jisoo is." I shrugged. "Get used to it. He's always like this. And don't take him too serious please. He's a cutie and won't hurt a fly. He just enjoys threatening people. Or at least that's my guess. You never know until you put it to the test..." Cheol's eyes shot wide open once he heard my last sentence and I hastily planted a bright smile on my face to ease his mind.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine!!"
"Uhhh... sure... if you say so..."
He didn't look the slightest bit convinced but I chose to ignore it for the moment and changed the topic.

"So are we going on this date or what?"
"You still want to?" He glanced up from once again starring at his shoes. "I would love to! We can't have you waste your money on a taxi only for us not to go on this date, right?" I grinned brightly. "Let me just quickly get my keys and a jacket. After all, we don't want the same accident to happen again." I winked at him before heading back inside to grab my stuff. I was really excited to go on a date with Seungcheol. Because, just in case I haven't mentioned it yet, I CAN HEAR HIS VOICE!! HIS BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL VOICE!!! AND THIS MAN IS GORGEOUS!!! SO FUCKING GORGEOUS!!

"I'm ready. Let's go!" I pulled the door shut and headed for the stairs. I couldn't hear his steps but I assumed he tailed me. We hadn't yet reached the bottom of the stairs when Cheol cleared his throat.
"Jeonghan?"
I nodded as a sign for him to continue.
"Can I ask you a question?" I turned my head slightly in his direction. "You just did." He rolled his eyes but I just flashed him a cocky grin. "Anyways, sure. I'm feeling oddly generous today, so go ahead and ask another one. I won't answer it if I don't feel like it. It's as simple as that."
Aish, my sass is at it again...

It took Cheol a couple of stairs to talk again. During that time I almost felt him shaking his head, thinking something along the lines "disappointed but not surprised". He better gets used to this. I'm a lot to handle and I know it.
I giggled. Oh how I loved talking to people again, interacting with them, teasing them.

"Your friend..." He paused at a loss of words. "Jisoo?" I helped him out. By now I had stopped in the middle of the staircase. I turned around to be able to see his face. "Yes. That one." "What about him?" I tilted my head. "I was wondering... It's probably a stupid question, but... does he use two names? You keep calling him Jisoo but when he left he said 'Joshua out' or something along those lines. So I was just wondering..."
I chuckled. "Ah yeah, that. He is a secret agent and has more than one identity and sometimes mixes up his alter egos with his actual name." I flashed him a big, toothy grin and turned around once again, taking the last few stairs. Reaching the glass front door I glanced back at him. Seungcheol hadn't moved an inch and stood exactly were I had left him, a look of utter confusion planted on his face. I winked at him, opened the door and exited the apartment building. I turned around once more. He still seemed a little shellshocked but then followed suit before the doors would close again.

I patted his back and laughed. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding! He grew up in the States and therefore has an American name as well. He uses both, the English and the Korean name. That's it. Boring explanation, I know." I pouted.
And then the almighty gods blessed my ears. Seungcheol laughed. THE MAN LAUGHED!!!! I swear I could melt right then and there.
"It might be boring, but that answer makes so much more sense. I mean, who in their right mind would tell YOU of all people they're a secret agent? And I can already tell this barely knowing you..." "Ey, what's that supposed to mean?!" "Am I wrong?" He giggled but for once I didn't care. "You're such... a meanie!" I was at a loss of words. Did he really just imply my friends shouldn't trust me with their secrets? I am OFFENDED!

Walking past me Cheol ruffled my hair. Pfff... As if that's gonna make his mean words any better. I'm not going anywhere with him anymore! It's decided!
I crossed my arms in a huff. I won't move an inch. He can go on this stupid date by himself. I don't plan on being teased all day. Uh-uh, not with me, Mister. No matter how cute and gorgeous and drop-dead beautiful you are and how lovely your voice sounds, I won't move an inch until you apologise! I pushed my bottom lip forward. I. Am. Not. Moving. And yes, I am very well aware that I behaved like a little child, thank you very much for pointing that out.
