I'll Come Back

His footsteps are light, just like how he was trained to walk. Quiet, swift, fast.

He hides behind the corridor, waiting for the night guard, to look away, so that he can sneak away to the other side of the floor.

Little Soobin sucks in his breath, when he hears screaming coming from his left. Knowing too well who they belong to.

He fights his tears, this is not the time to get emotional.

He stands on his toes, peaking from behind the wall to check on the night guard, who is too invested in his phone, texting to a woman he met online, to notice the 13 year old boy pass by his booth, crawling to be unnoticed.

Soobin slides under the railing closing between the containers and the warehouse. Moving a bit awkward from not practicing enough on his agility.

Still, it works well enough for him to stand in front of the large, metal boxes.

He lifts up the heavy tools, half of which weigh more than his body, but he sucks it up, and tries not to make a sound as he swings the hammer in the air, and hits the lock right at it's breaking point.

The creaky door opens slowly, the sound of it echoing through the ware house and little Soobin freezes in his place, looking back to see if the guard has noticed, and came to see what was going on.

Fortunately, there was nobody behind him.

When he looks forward, his eyes widen and he backs away a few steps, stunned by the sight.

"Who are you...?" A young lady, maybe a few years older than him steps up from the group, and looks at him with a questioning look.

Her clothes are rugged, face sunked in just like the rest of the girls.

Soobin finds in difficult to breathe.

"Get out." He manages to say, and hands out his arm for the lady to grab.

She hesitates, looking at the others as asking them what she should do. When one nods along, giving her the courage she needs to take Soobin's hand.

He pulls her out of the high container, and moves fast. There's still a lot to do, and not a lot of time to do it in.

He needs to free them all.

And he needs to make it quick.

10 minutes later, the last of the people steps outside, and Soobin guides him with very little words and with the help of mime, to where the exit is.

He's about to leave the premise, heart relieved at the success of his plan. When he spots a small metal box, at the very back of the warehouse.

Little Soobin squints his eyes to see a little better. Even approaches it at a certain distance.

It looks intricate, the locks on it. Heavy duty Chains looping the doors, securing the exits from all ends.

Curiosity rises, and Soobin gets closer, knocking faintly on the hard doors.

"Hello?" He whispers as low as he can. Not sure whether it's enough to get past the doors, but he can't risk getting caught. So a whisper would have to suffice.

"Is anyone there...?" He asks again, gripping the chains with his hands to see how well tied they are.

The lock on the door seems bigger, and more complicated to the others.
