First day pt 2

MONDAY 7:27, SCHOOL

" here! Have a good day!" Ms. Kone told us. The guys got out first, but before I could step out, Maya pulled me back.
"We should like take out first steps together,"
"Yeah, totally."
We all locked arms and stepped out of the van.
We walked through the school as people gave us looks or just completely ignored us.
"Guys, Connie M. Is totally best friends with Heather this year. "
"Damnnnn, the rumors weren't lying they're huge." Anna and Mays gossip  about Connie as she walked past us.
"There's no way those things grew over night" I said.
"Really? Then how did yours grow?" Anna asked me.
"Um overtime. Just like puberty Intended" I said then continued walking into the school to  homeroom.

"Aww I have a different homeroom than you guys,"
"It's ok y/n we'll come meet you at your locker so we can all walk to gym together."
"I heard that you have Dustin in your homeroom"
"Yeah and you guys have Brandt and Alec"
"Y/n his name is Alex"
"Isn't that what I just said" and with that, I quickly walked away to my homeroom to avoid that conversation.

MONDAY 7:38, CLASSROOM

Fortunately for me, the only open seat was in front of Dustin and some dude I remember but not his name. No one sat next to me, so I put my backpack in the chair.
I suddenly felt a pencil poke my back, so I turned around and saw Dustin looking around the classroom and not making eye contact. The guy next to him was silently giggling. I gave them a look and turned back around.
After a few seconds, I felt the tap again and turned around as fast as possible. Just to see in Dustin the exact same  spot as  before. This time I smirked at him and turned around.
I felt the tap again, but I didn't turn. Not even a second later, he once again taped, and I didn't turn. He kept doing it until I suddenly turned and snatched the pencil put his hand.
"Wait that's my only pencil"
"Wait I don't give two shits"
"Damnnnn girl, you spicy huh?"
"Here" I handed him his pencil back and turned back around.

"Ok everyone settle down! I'm about to call role" the teacher announced.
"Dustin Long"
"President!"
"Y/n L/n"
"Here!"
"Why don't you come up to the front and share how your summer went Ms. L/n"
I immediately got nervous because I had no idea what to say. I didn't do anything too fun over break.
"Um I came back home from (Insert whatever place you want)"
"Oh wow, so this isn't your first year in Texas?" The teacher asked me.
"Omg! So like what's it like in (Insert place)?" Some popular girl I completely forgot the name of asked.
"Um very different from Texas"
"Oh cool"
"Yeah..." I looked at the teacher asking with my eyes to go sit back down.
"You may take your seat, Ms. L/n",
"Thanks."
I walked back to my seat and sat back down and immediately let out a breath I was holding.
"Damn..." I whispered under my breath.
"Ok class! Now you will be assigned your lockers!"

MONDAY 7:53, HALLWAY

"Goddammit! Why won't this fucking locker open?" I groaned and repeatedly put in the combination.
I even tried hitting the damn it thing but nothing worked.
"Yo, you good?"
I jumped at the voice behind me and turned to see Dustin.
"No, I can't get this shit open"
"Move"
He said and put in a combination and easily opened the locker.
"How the hell did you do that?"
"Um maybe because it's my locker"
He smiled confusedly with his hands on his hips.
"I'm sorry what?"
"It's my locker, you got the wrong one or maybe your tryna steal my shit?" He said but I could tell his was teasing me.
"Oh yeah? And why the hell would I want anything of yours?"
"Mhm, do you?" He shrugged his shoulders.
"Whatever see ya around " I said and walked off to find my real locker and friends.

While I was walking, I saw papers that said 'Dustin loves Maya' and 'Brandt loves Maya'
"What the hell..." I questioned and saw more and more of them.
"N/n! Over here!" I heard Maya
"Bro, have yall seen these papers?" I asked Anna and Maya when I made it over to them.
"Yessss!"
"No, Dur! Of course we have they're like everywhere!"
"It's happening, guys! I might get a boyfriend!" Maya said excitedly.
"Yeah...!" I said, trying to hide the fact that I was deeply upset about this.
"So where is your locker n/n?" Anna asked me.
"Oh, um, I don't know yet"
"Let me see your paper" Maya took my paper and read it.
"Omg your literally walking away from it!" Maya giggled and started walking towards the direction I came from.
"It's right here"
Once again I am put right by Dustin. I couldn't help but be happy even though I knew he wasn't interested in me. He was interested in Maya, tho.
"So where are you guys lockers?" I asked them.
"Oh back in the other direction"
"Ok cool" I followed them back in the other direction.

MONDAY 8:09AM, LOCKER ROOM

"Brandt loves Maya and Dustin loves Maya"  Maya repeated what the posters said.
"Wait! Hold on a second!"
"What Mai?"
"Yeah what happened?"
"There's not another Maya is there?"
"Nooo your the only one I know"
"Yeah no your like the only one"
"I'm the only one? Alright cool, good"
"Yeah I don't know another one"
"So it has to me me. It's literally me. Ok"
"Yeah..."
"Hey why are you girls taking over me? What am I chopped liver?" The coach said.
We all jumped and looked over at her with wide eyes.
"I got my eye on you three" she handed us our gym uniforms and walked off.
When she walked off we giggled silently  and got changed.

MONDAY 8:15, FEILD

"Ok guys so who would you say are the hottest guys of this school?" I asked, dangling my feet off the bench we were sitting on. I watch Na and Mai roll up their shorts and shirt sleeves  to look 'hot' but I just left mines as is because I thought it made my butt look big.
"Well there's Brandt"
"The one that loves you?"
"Um yeah" Maya smiled big and bright when she responded, showing off her retainer.
"I'm sorry, but Brandt is coming over," Anna said and giggled.
But my dumbass was stuck sitting between Maya and Brandt, which was awkward because Mqya was just staring at his neck the whole time.
" there's also Dustin, he's fly," Anna pointed out the boy of my dreams.
"Damn right he is" I said and swooned over him. I watched as he licked his lips and looked around with squinted eyes.

"Sup," I heard a voice beside me say.
I looked around and made eye contact with Maya and pointed slightly at Brandon
"I'm talking to you Y/N right?" He asked me.
"Um yeah you're Brandon right?" I asked.
"It's Brandt, but whatever. I see you looking at Dustin over there."
"Mhm...?"
"So...you lik-"
"Everyone sit down! Man down!"
Fortunely for me coach yelled cutting off Brandon but I infer what he said and I'm glad he was cut off.
But unfortunately for Anna she hit her crush Alec in the face with a ball and had to take him to the nurse.
At least they get time alone, lowkey wish I had that with Dustin.

MONDAY 9:20, CLASSROOM

"Dustin is a bitch" Anna said when she came into the classroom and sat down.
"Wait really?"
"Yeah! Alex told me"
"But I thought Dustin and Alex were like best friends.
"Yeah me too?" I said looking over at Dustin who was laughing about something and just looked so fine in all honesty.
"Maybe you shouldn't go for Dustin Mai" Anna suggested.
"I knowed but I really like his earring and maybe being with a bitch is what's best for me right now"
"Yeah but he's not friends with Alex."
I listened to the conversation while they just ignored me and discussed amongst themselves.
"Ok I'll just go with Brandt so we can have our first together" Maya decided.
I quietly celebrated about getting to have Dustin to myself.

I zoned out as the girls were deciding on what the note should say for them to give to Brandt.
"Hey! Earth to N/n?"
"Huh? Sorry I zoned out"
"Yeah um can you proof read this note for Brandt"
"Um sure"

"Ok because like I'm gonna like put it in his locker"
"Mhm"
"And did he ask you abt me earlier like during gym ?"
"Oh um no"
"Oh...."
"But he probably would have because the coach cut his off"
I shrugged and tried to reassure her.

MONDAY 9:48, HALLWAY

"Brandt says yes!"
"No Dustin says yes!"
"No I do not!"
"Oh yes he does!"
Dustin and Brandt ran up to us in the hallway and was basically fighting over Maya.
"Oh my God Dustin it's like do presumptuous of you to think she was asking you, like she was asking Brandt."
"Oh my god guys this is like so mean, just tell her" some girl named Rebecca came up and said.
"UGIS biatch"
"UGIS"
"U-G-I-S"
The boys ran back in forward on the hallway yelling.
"Haha...what?"
"Oh honey don't you know...? It means ugliest girl in school..."
