Inter Milan will give Choi Jinwook as much time as he needs to grieve the death of his late wife before returning to the club.
Jinwook announced the sad news on Monday night, adding that only with the love and support of friends and family that currently give the 'the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness'.

The star missed Saturday night's game against Napoli at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona after Inter gave him compassionate leave to be with his children.
Inter's manager Simone Inzaghi said: 'Yes, of course, this is the worst that can happen. I am husband and a father of three sons myself so I am fully aware of what that means. We are all behind him, we are all with him, and wish that he and his family are strong together.'
Later on Inter Milan also released an official statement:

Earlier a statement from the club read:
"Everybody at Inter Milan and indeed the football world is sending love to Choi Jinwook and his family, after the club legend made a heart-breaking announcement on Monday evening. Family is more important than everything and Jinwook is supporting his loved ones at this immensely difficult time.
As such, we can confirm that he will not feature in the match against Napoli at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and we underline the family's request for privacy. Jinwook, we are all thinking of you and sending strength to the family."
Players from both teams wore black armbands as a mark of respect on Saturday evening, and fans joined together to applaud in the eighth minute - a gesture that was initially suggested by Napoli supporters who sang Con te partirò at the end of the minute's applause.
