There are a lot of reasons for someone to hide who they really are. I guess it happens more commonly than you'd think, especially in High School.

Some allow themselves to believe that society will only except what they want to see. That's true again, to a certain extent. Society will see you as you are, although they may misjudge your outer exterior based on the way you've chosen to present it, they may not respect it, but you can bet your ass they'll see it.

So I guess it makes sense for people to hide behind a fake face to fall in line with society, but I'm not one of those people, I mean look at me. If an old lady passed me in the street she'd probably wonder what my next move would be to rebel against my parents, but this isn't about me. It's about him.

I just didn't realise it.
