Volume 1 Chapter 3: Hogwarts Here We Come!

Previously: Hailey leaped up to the railing of the wooden bridge that was broken. She shouted out,"Axel!" The gate was unlocked and when she jumped through the magical barrier she was teleported to a hidden village full of Centaurs. She smiled brightly at everyone waving in her direction. Hailey headed towards the bell tower in the middle of the village to study for school as usual. She brought snacks to eat while she learned more about potions and medicine. "Hale, come down and spar with us a bit!" She peeked out of the window and saw her three best friends. Trinity, Percy & Axel, they are the best fighters in the village. "Trinity, you know I have to study!" "Come on, hale! Just a little!" "I really need to study!" "Hailey, you need a break from constantly studying. You've been working nonstop." She sighed softly as she set down her book and vaulted out of the tower and floated down on her broom with her wand in her right hand. She hopped off her broom and grabbed it with her left. "Alright let's spar." She infused magic in her wand and changed its form into a short sword. She smirked smugly,"I've found out that my wand is special." She dashed towards Trinity with a confident expression. She swung upwards and clashed metal with her marble tipped wooden sword.

A/N~ (Wand) Pearl white Marble tip, dark forest willow tree, rest of the wand with a vine designed hilt. (Phoenix Core - Her wand self repairs. | She can change its form into a marble tipped wooden short sword. Marble spiked vine whip with a smooth wooden hilt. Or a marble blade spear with vine spiraling around the middle of the smooth wood creating a comfortable grip.)

Hailey lost against the strength test just before she got cut pretty bad, her wand transformed into a spear. She just barely stopped the sword from cutting into her flesh. "That was close, good thing I discovered that my nature affinity affects my dark forest wood wand. It has a Phoenix core so I transforms using magic." They clapped to her cool performance. She bowed her head proudly. Their cheers were cut short by the sound of screams, terror and pain coming from the front of the village. "Derek, what's wrong!?" Hailey asked, worried. "Trolls somehow got past the barrier." Without a second thought Hailey ran towards the front of the village. "Wait, don't!" Axel shouted out but she didn't listen. They three ran and galloped after her and gave them a swift ride. "Let's give you a boost and helping hand." Percy said, bluntly.

Hailey got on her feet in a crouching position as she got ready to jump off. She changed her wand into a spear. She leaped off their back and threw the spear into the troll's shoulder. She unfortunately missed the heart. She landed gracefully on her broom and flew towards the beast without any hesitation. "Hailey be careful!" Axel shouted out as he tried to catch up. She dodged the troll's club and leaped towards her spear. She grabbed it and swung around until she was smacked to the ground. She gripped onto her wand with a few broken bones. She coughed out blood onto the grass she forced herself up. She held out her wand and shouted out,"Binding vines! Fire Phoenix!" Vines wrapped and bound the troll in place. Everytime it struggled it got tighter. A bird of flames blasted out of her wand and flew towards the troll restrained. It was lit in scorching flames. His flesh melted to goop as his bones were charred. She locked on the next for with unwavering focus and concentration. Her body was emitting a chilling aura of pure hatred and bloodlust. "Rock golem!" Rocks in the nearby area got absorbed and magnetized to the core of magical power. It fought anything or anyone considered an enemy to their creator in the nearby vicinity, aka the last two trolls. She created two golems and then shouted out as she pointed her wand at the dirt ground. "Mud pit!" The ground collapsed beneath the targets and acted like a vacuum. The more they struggled the more their lower half was absorbed into the ground. She tried to move but her ribs were cracked. Hailey grabbed her side as she held out her wand with her other hand. She went to say something but only blood came up her throat and out her mouth. She fell to her knees as blood leaked and poured out. "Hailey!" Axel shouted as he rushed towards her from the front lines. She looked up at him with blurry vision. She fell to her side as blood leaked out of her wounds.
