"I'm Tachibana Akane as the student council secretary. I'll lead this meeting to discuss the case of Sudo Ken from Class D who attacked three students from Class C. The final decision will be taken by Horikita Manabu as the student council president."
The student council room is now filled with eleven people. The three students of Class C and their homeroom teacher, the four students of Class D and their homeroom teacher, and the student council president and his secretary.
"Two Class C's students who are in the same club as Sudo Ken confess that they got a call from Sudo Ken to meet him at a special pavilion. When they got there, they are immediately attacked by Sudo Ken for no reason.
Then, the statement from Sudo Ken is slightly opposite. Sudo Ken said that he was the one who was called by the two. When he got there, he didn't know why there were three people there, and they immediately attacked him. Sudo Ken admits that he fought them to protect himself.
The victims here are clearly visible, Komiya-kun, Kondo-kun, and Ishizaki-kun. Sudo Ken, is that acceptable?"
Sudo with an annoyed face stood up. "I admit that I did beat them up, but this was all started by them! They're jealous that I got picked for the regular team of the school basketball club!"
Hearing that, the three victims immediately argued, "Why are we jealous of trash like you! It's clearly you who made us like this."
"Silent, please. President, please." Tachibana Senpai intervened in the commotion.
"Looking at it from anywhere, it's clear that someone is making false statements here. I don't know who attacked whom, it's clear that the victims were these three people."
Ayanokouji saw how the student council president's serious face radiated, eyes that were similar to the eyes of the girl next to him occasionally glanced at his younger sister.
"The decision can be made based on the fact that Sudo Ken did injure these three people, does anyone have any objections?"
After Tachibana finished her sentence, Horikita immediately stood up. "I have some questions that I'd like to ask to the three of them."
"President."
"Go ahead."
After obtaining approval, Horikita asked, "Based on the data Tachibana Senpai gave me, Condo– the two of you were called by Sudo-kun to a special pavilion. Then, why was Ishizaki-kun there?"
Ayanokouji was relieved that at least Horikita could remember Sudo's name. His eyes are now looking at the three Class C students.
"We only want protection, Sudo-kun is known for using violence." The boy named Komiya answered.
"That means you brought Ishizaki-kun who is good at fighting to protect you because you know that Sudo-kun will attack you, is that it?"
"Y–yes, that's right."
"I do have some knowledge of martial arts, if only to a certain extent. I understand that when you're fighting against multiple enemies, victory becomes exponentially more difficult.
So, I don't understand how you were defeated so handily, how the fight could be so one-sided, when you had a
skilled fighter like Ishizaki-kun with you.""Because we didn't intend to fight," Ishizaki said.
"The primary factor in triggering a fight is the collision of the 'energy' between opponents. In the event that you don't have any intention of fighting, or that you're nonviolent, the probability that you'll be hurt should be very low. Especially when there are three of you."
