25 : What Will X Do?

It was almost six o'clock when I, Akito, Haruka, and Maya entered the karaoke room. The four of us had asked Keisei to join us, but that guy have a meeting with the other instructors. Horikita seemed to want to discuss the progress of the study group one last time before the exams actually started.

Speaking of which, there are three days left until the exam's day. I can see how Class D, and of course the other classes are working hard lately. Horikita's plan went smoothly, and I don't think Class D's question papper will be leaked out.

I've sent negotiations with Ryuuen, and have also given orders to Karuizawa. I'm waiting for those two results.

"Sasaina yorokobi tachi wo sodatete ikimasen ka~"

I could heard Haruka and Maya singing some song earlier. Akito next to me was just watching while drinking apple juice~, I mean his order.

"You want to sing, Kiyotaka-kun?" Akito handed me the one remaining microphone.

"No, I don't know many songs and am not good at singing."

The White Room never taught me how to sing, I only knew how to play a few instruments. After all, if I've been taught how to sing and good at singing some songs, I'm not sure I can appear confident even in a place like this.

"You know the song they were singing?" He asked me.

I shook my head in response to Akito's question. If you look at it, unlike me, Akito seems to know some songs and maybe he can sing them too.

"That's a song from one of the anime, Komi-san Can't Communicate."

Anime? I've heard Sotomura said that word several times. Maybe kind of Japanese cartoon. Curious, I asked, "Have you watched it?"

He nodded. "I suggest you to watch it, it's pretty good."

I memorized the name of that anime in my brain. Maybe later I can ask Sotomura for recommendations as well if he has any good anime suggestions.

"Kiyotaka-kun, would you like to have a duet with me?"

Maya called me from where she was, she was still standing beside Haruka who was busy looking at the lyrics on the screen.

"Unfortunately, I can't sing, Maya. Maybe next time?"

I'd definitely want to give a try if I already had a few songs I could sing. I don't know how my voice could be heard when I'm singing. Maya from her place looked disappointed, but then nodded in understanding. She then pulled Akito along to sing together.

Speaking about Maya, I know she seems to have feelings for me. In several study group meetings, her affection was really visible. Haruka few times indirectly mentioned Maya's feelings for me.

Karuizawa also often mentions to me about Maya if I call her to do something. Honestly, I don't care about that kind of feeling myself. If she confessed, I can reject it right away.

"Yo, Kiyopon, you memorized the song I sang with Mayon earlier. You can't leave this room without singing at least one song." Haruka demands.

"But ... i don't know anything about the song tho."

"Just search it on the internet, with your phone. Yo, Aki-kun, let's join! Nemurenaketemo yoru wa akeru sore o boku wa nagamete iru~"

I saw the title on the television screen. Yorugaakeru from Given. I don't know what it was, I chose to look for the song Haruka ordered me to sing.

By the way, this was our first time going out to hang out together after being in the same study group meetings so many times. I accepted their friend offer and joined the group under my name.
