Alaska's P.O.V

"What the fuck is your problem? Uncuff me!" He yelled yanking at the cuffs around his hands
"Did you actually think you were gonna cheat on me AGAIN and I was just gonna give in? Nash Cmon." I half laughed as I fixed my shirt in the mirror
"Someone will come and get me." He laughed
"Not without the key." I smirked as I held it up
His eyes grew wide as he let out a big huff
"Honestly I thought you were better then this. Do you ever consider on your drunk nights how fucking bad this shit hurts me? While you're out getting your dick sucked I'm here waiting for you to get back. This isn't love Nash. All this is, is pain."
I frowned as I walked out the door. Slamming it shut.
I felt my eyes well up as my back hit the door.
My legs weakened as I slid down the hard surface crumpling myself into a little ball and began sobbing into my knees.

Why does this keep happening?
Why do I keep falling back in love with someone who apparently doesn't love me back?
Why do I keep letting myself get hurt?

"Alaska?" I picked my head up and came in contact with those big brown eyes
And they just so happened to belong to Matthew. And it's really not who I expected.
"Umm yeah?" I asked wiping under my eyes and giving a small smile.
"Come with me." He said reaching out his hand and giving me a very comforting smile.

"Umm okay but where are we going?" I asked curiously as I easily took his hand, him pulling me up and wrapping his arms tightly around my small waist.
I rested my head on his chest and breathed in the cologne smelling aroma.
He pulled away and smiled grabbing my hand once again.
Following his lead down the stairs, I couldn't help but think..
What is going on?
How do I feel?
What do I want?
I want love.
I know that for sure.
I want to be able to hold someone and hear I love you over and over again to the point it's not a routine but felt. It would be known by me.

I know I have a deep connection with Nash.
But I can't keep letting him cheat on me and think I'm gonna fall right back in love with him.
I know I have something weird or different with Cam.
But he's a close friend and I can't lose him by any means.
But Matt.
I had the first connection with him.
He was the first one I met and maybe I didn't give him the best chance.

Maybe he deserves one.
But maybe he doesn't.
He is the one who publicly humiliated in school.

Sitting in the car beside him Im confused as to how he feels
What he's getting out of this?
What he wants

What does he want?

"Matt?" I asked quietly breaking the silence and looking over at his glistening eyes.
I gently picked his hand up from his thigh and laced my fingers with his, laying them in the middle beside us.
He kept a serious face and squeezed my hand , turning his attention back towards the road ahead of us.

"Can you tell me where we're going?" I half smiled looking back over at him.
"Somewhere fun." He chuckled not paying me much attention.
"Please." I smiled pouting my lip
"Nope. You gotta wait." He pouted back staring into my eyes
"Might wanna look at the road. That'd be great." I giggled squeezing his hand.
"Why would I wanna look at the road when I have a very beautiful girl sitting in the seat beside me?" He smiled sending me a wink
"Because I don't wanna die." I scoffed giving him the biggest duh look.
"Oh Umm. I was trying to be cute but whatever." He laughed

"We're almost there." He grinned bouncing in his seat.
"Calm down there Matt." I smiled looking out the window
"No! Don't-" he yelled as my eyes widened
I looked at the wooden sign outside my window.
Saying
'Land and aquatic animal zoo 11 miles.
Exit 70 on right.'
And it had a manatee painted on it
I smiled and began to jump up and down in my seat
"A LAND AND AQUATIC ZOO?" I Yelled Getting excited
I always wanted to see the Dolphins but have never gotten the chance.
I wanted to go to one of the places you could go diving in the shark tanks.
He began to laugh at me
"Stop I've never seen Dolphins!" I whined tapping my feet on the car floor
"You've never seen Dolphins? What. the. fuck." He straightened his face.
"I know sucks right?" I frowned as I saw the gate for the zoo in front of us
"Yay we're here!" I smiled feeling joy rush over me.
"Come on!" I yelled pushing my car door open as he had just stopped to park.
"Okay I'm coming. Im coming!" He yelled trying to catch up with me

After paying for our tickets we had made it inside.
Seeing all the animals on every side of me
The new sounds of different ones screaming in my ears.
He slipped his hand into mine and I took it back letting them slightly swing between us.
"Matt lets go there!" I squealed pointing towards the bird cages.
I drug him to it hearing his loud laugh echoing behind me

Seeing the giraffes, the birds, the turtles, the monkeys, and the pandas, made me extra happy but we had yet to see the Dolphins and it was getting late, and I was getting frustrated.
"Hey stay here for like 5 minutes okay?" He said shuffling to sit me on a bench.
"Umm okay. Where are you- okay then." I huffed slapping my hands on my thighs as he ran away mid sentence.
What does he have planned?

It's been 20 minutes and I'm getting worried
What if he got hurt? I'm scared. Did he ditch me? Or is this being pissed because I'm in between.
I pulled out my phone and called him.
It rang and rang until i had gotten annoyed right before I hung up I heard his voice on his other line
'Hello?'
"Where the fuck are you?"
'Hi to you too. Did you happen to notice where I went?'
"Yeah but I didn't wanna be nosy. Why?"
'Just go around the corner I did.'
"Okay" I said and hung up the phone
I stumbled standing up because my leg had fallen asleep.
I wonder....
I followed the path to the corner he went around and saw the big Dolphins on the railing above me
I squealed and rushed inside seeing no one
It's empty...
The water flicked off the walls and it was a relaxing room to be in
I went down the hall following the dolphin signs.
I finally entered a big room and looked over to my right and saw a gigantic tank filled with water
I gasped as I saw the Dolphins swimming happily among themselves
"Oh my god!" I whisper yelled
"MATTHEW?" I walked closer seeing him in a diving suit smiling at me through the glass
He sent a wave and pointed to the corner of the room which I quickly went too
A narrow hallway led me to a man holding a diving suit and sending a heart warming smile.
"I am guessing you are the young lady Matthew has requested this for?" He smiled handing me the suit
"He did all this for me?" I asked slightly confused
"Yes. Now hurry and change it is 7:25 exactly and the tank closes at 9:35. Press the red button if it's needed." He said slightly pushing me forward
"Thank you." I smiled and he smally bowed his head.

I was staring at the tank searching for Matthew and I couldn't find him.
A dolphin suddenly appeared and a high pitch squeal was heard through out the quiet room.
I laughed and it came closer to my dangling feet and stuck it's pointed head in between my legs
I smiled really big and slowly pet its head making its mouth hang slightly ajar and it made me smile
I pulled my hand back and it pushed Its head back and forth and squealed splashing me all over.
It suddenly disappeared and my legs were grabbed and pulled sliding me under the water.
My goggles fogged up The tiniest of bit as I came face to face with a smiling Matthew.
He did this for me.
