Recap:
"Lacey, President Williams and I have acknowledged three different options for you to live. The first is with either a foster home or the adoption services. Knowing that nobody in their right mind would choose that, we ruled that one out. The second option was to live with me. I have a terrible work schedule, so I wouldn't be home most of the time. The final option was to live with President Williams. We both thought that it would be best for you to choose who to live with." Amber stated.
...
"I've made my decision." I declared. "I choose to live with President Williams."
End of Recap:
"I know what you're thinking, Amber. It's not that I don't like you, I do. It's just that you won't be there most of the time and this seemed like the better option," I confessed. "Also, President Williams' guards can protect me."
Amber nodded her head in understanding. "Would you like me to get your bags?" She asked.
I nodded my head. "Yeah. I'll help you. And I promise to visit as often as I can."

Amber and I followed President Williams' secretary up to the second floor and into a plain white bedroom. It had dark wooden nightstands next to the plain bed. Across from the bed was a dresser with a big mirror on top of it. Next to the dresser was a desk with a really fancy computer on top of it. There were two other doors in the room and went to check them out.
One of the doors was a big walk-in closet with nothing in it. I walked back out of the room as Amber put the bags on the floor of the closet. I walked through the other door and found a huge bathroom. I could fit all of my old room in there and then some (my old room wasn't big to begin with).
I walked back into the bedroom and smiled evilly at the secretary. "Is there any way that I could change this room to my likings?"
She smiled back at me and replied, "I'm sure there's something we can do."

President Williams' secretary talked to him, and he hired me a construction team to remodel my room. I handed the head constructor a picture of how I wanted my room to look like, and he nodded and smiled at me and said, "We can do this, no problem, Miss Lacey."
I smiled back at him and left them to do their magic (not literally). I walked out of the room and started to wander around the house. I walked down the hall that my bedroom was on and opened every door. The door that was next to mine was just a regular room, most likely a guest room, same with all the other eight doors in the hallway. There were ten doors total, and the one that wasn't like mine was just across the hall from my new bedroom. I poked my head inside and scanned the room.
The person who lived in this room seemed to really like the color green. His walls were painted a forest green and the bedspread was camouflage. He had neutral colored night stands and a dresser the same color. I looked out of his window and saw that he had a better view than I did. My window looked out the driveway, but his looked out on the most beautiful pool that I have ever seen. I knelt next to the window, dreaming of when I could jump into that cold water when I heard a throat clear behind me.
I heard a voice bark at me, "Lacey, I don't remember inviting you into my room."
I slowly turned around to see who it was, scared of who it might be. My eyes widened in shock when I saw who it was.
"Jackson!" I squeaked.
