Introduction

Hi everyone! Welcome to my Peter Parker Imagines book! This book just underwent some major reconstruction, so I'm going to be dividing this introduction into two sections: New Readers and Returning Readers, just to organize my thoughts.

But first, a couple of general points:

Like the book's description says (but I'm just going to reiterate it here because I'm not sure if anyone even reads those), this is a book of one-shots and imagines for Peter Parker (Tom Holland's version). If MCU!Peter isn't your cup of tea, that's cool, he's just the one I feel most comfortable writing for and there are lots of TASM!Peter and Tobey!Peter fics out there that are better than anything I could write for either of them

These are all going to be Peter Parker x Fem!Reader

I DON'T write smut. The closest I'm probably ever going to get is implied smut

*Also, I have a Tumblr now! My username is hufflepuff-n-fluff. Writing-wise, anything I put on my Tumblr will also be on my Wattpad, but the reverse might not be true. There are some things that I may not transfer over.

Hi, hufflepuffwritesstuff here! Welcome to my Peter Parker imagines book! Have a look around! I originally started this book in 2019, and for these past couple of months I've been reading the parts I wrote early on over and revising them so hopefully the shift from my older, cringier stuff to my newer stuff won't be as noticeable now. Some I've just deleted entirely or plan to rewrite at some point, but despite not being my best work I thought that a few of them were good enough to keep, and it'll probably be easy to tell which ones those are. So just keep in mind that some of the earlier fics in this book might be a little rough compared to my more recent ones.

Also, you'll notice that below in the Returning Readers section I talk about a separate Peter Parker x reader fic I wrote in 2019/2020 (she's a pandemic baby) called Siren. Originally, I posted chapters of Siren in this book and as a separate book, but I've since taken those chapters out of this book. If you're interested in reading Siren, you can find it as its own separate book with chapters that are all up-to-date.

I will not also be putting Siren on Tumblr like most of the fics in this book.*

For returning readers:

If you're coming back to this book, hi again! Glad to see you! I'll spare you the introduction to this book and to me, but there are a few changes that I want to let you know about.

Where are the chapters of Siren that were in this book?

If you know about the full-length fic I wrote from 2019-2020, you'll remember that I posted the first few chapters here as well as in a separate book. Now that it's been a while, I didn't really see the point in keeping them here if they're already in the other book. All the chapters in Siren are currently up-to-date.

I will not also be putting Siren on Tumblr like most of the fics in this book.* The reason for that is because it would just be too big of a project to edit and I know I'd want to edit it before posting it to another platform. I also don't feel like it's a very good indication of what my writing's like now but I can't bear to delete it because it's my little pandemic baby and I love it, even if reading it back sometimes makes me cringe.

Where's that one fic that I liked?

The answer to this one varies. Some of the fics that used to be in this book I just straight up deleted and others I may have deleted but plan to rewrite. I had a series called "I Hate You" that I got quite a few requests to write more parts to, but unfortunately, I didn't feel like I had enough enthusiasm about that story to continue it, so I deleted it. I always hate deleting fics because of the idea that someone might want to reread them someday and be disappointed when they're no longer there, but I wasn't going to keep that series in this book if I never intend to finish it.

Why did you get rid of all the Tom Holland x reader imagines?

Like I said in the original update post (which has since been deleted), I want to focus exclusively on Peter from now on.
