Braids (P.P. Headcannons)

Peter loves playing with your hair. The habit originally started because he would need something to do with his hands when he was nervous, but eventually it just turned into him playing with your hair whenever he felt like it.

His favorite thing to do with your hair is braid it. He loves the feel of it between his fingers, and he actually gets really into it, researching and trying new styles when he's bored or when you're not paying attention. Curly, straight, long, short, Peter just loves your hair, and sometimes when he's really stressed you sit down in front of him and let him brush it. It calms him, somehow.

He'll braid stuff into it every once and a while. He'll braid little flowers into it at the park, but he's so sneaky about it you usually don't notice until you get home. He'll offer to braid sharpened pencils into it so you can use your braid as a weapon, and you've never really figured out whether he suggests it to make you laugh when someone's made you angry (not him, he knows better) or because he actually wants to see if it would work (and you have to admit, you're kind of curious too)
