vampire bite?

-y/n's pov-

I was going for a walk, it was getting pretty dark outside so I decided to walk home. It was suspiciously quiet, but I felt a presence around me. "Hello?" I asked out in the darkness, "Rory if you're trying to scare me I'm gonna kill you..." I say as I roll my eyes. I wasn't paying attention and I accidentally scratched myself on a branch, it left a big scratch on my arm, then suddenly I felt someone tap my shoulder, "okay okay, you got me Rory..." I say turning around, my eyes widen slightly as I step backwards, it was a tall guy with black hair and pale skin, "okay, you are not Rory..." I say. The guy laughed at me, "no, I'm afraid I don't know who that is... I'm Jesse." he says. I look at him with confusion, "okay, what do you want?" I ask. He steps closer to me, "oh you know, I was just walking  around and I couldn't help but notice a very specific smell..." he says sniffing the air. I raise a brow at him, he gently reaches out for my arm causing me to quickly move back. "I'm not gonna hurt you." He says sternly, I sigh as I loosen up a bit. He gently reaches for my arm again, this time I allow him to grab it, he lifts my sleeve as he sees the scratch. He breaths in smelling the air once again, I slowly remove my arm from his grasp. "I'm gonna go now..." I say, "wait!" he says, I look at him, he smiles softly at me. "Can I walk you home?" he asked, "eh, I don't think that's such a good idea..." I say, scratching the back of my neck nervously. "Yeah I guess it's kinda weird, it's just... you're special." He says, staring at my arm. "Where did you come from?" I asked, he eyes shifted upwards as he looked into mine, "oh, I came from the woods over there..." he says, pointing to the woods. "right..." I say, I didn't really believe him, he suddenly appears out of nowhere and he's attracted to the scratch on my arm... it's a little weird. I here someone running up behind me, I quickly look to see who it was, "Sarah??" I ask, "Jesse what are you doing here?!" she asks angrily.

Jesse and Sarah have a stare down for a while, "uh guys, can someone tell me what's going on?" I ask, "no, just go home y/n it sing safe here..." Sarah says, I listen to her because she's my best friend and I trust her more than this stranger. "y/n..." Jesse says, I look at him, "that's a pretty name." He smiles. "Ugh you're disgusting." Sarah says, "go y/n!" she looks at me sternly. I decided to walk off letting her handle that whole situation.

-Sarah's POV-

I was walking to find a snack when I saw two figures in the distance, once I could make out who they were I instantly started running. "Jesse what are you doing here?!" I ask him. Y/n and Jesse have been talking... God I hope he didn't do anything to her. I made y/n go home because she's just a defenseless human, and Jesse is a vampire maniac. "What are you doing with her Jesse?" I ask him, he just glares at me, "it's her blood... it's rare, it smells... so good." he says practically drooling. "She's my best friend, you leave her alone." I say, "Can't make any promises..." he says, winking at me. He then flew away and left me there, I sigh in defeat as I walk home.

-Y/n's POV-

Instead of going home I go to Ethan's house. I knock on the door and Benny answers the door, "oh hey y/n!" He says, "y/n's here?!" I here Rory yell from the living room. He shoves Benny out of the way giving me a hug, "Hey Rory!" I giggle. "So what you guys are just having a party without me?" I joke, as I walk into Ethan's house. "Never!" Rory said, "we were just watching Doug the monster hunter guy, we know you hate that show so we didn't think you'd wanna watch it with us..." he says. I laugh, "you guys are such dorks!" I say, "whatever," Rory rolls his eyes playfully, "what have you been up too hot stuff?" he smiles, "I was just on a walk," I say casually. "A walk?! It's almost dark outside!" he says, he sniffs around, he quickly lifts up my sleeve. "And you got hurt??" he asks, he sniffs again, "oh my gosh..." he says, "you smell amazing..." he said covering his nose. "You need to clean and bandage that up!" He said, "guys I'll be back, I need to find a rat!" he says and runs out of Ethan's house.

Ethan walks me to the bathroom and grabs the first aid kit, he gently grabs my arm and put some alcohol on the scratch to disinfect it. "Ow!" I wince, "sorryyy!" He says, he gently wipes off the excess, and bandages my arm up. "Thanks E!" I smile, he smiles back, "no problem!" He says. We walk out of the bathroom and back to the living room, Sarah was standing there talking to Benny. "Y/n, what are you doing here? I told you to go home..." she said, I roll my eyes, "relax I'm just with Benny and Ethan!" I say, "no y/n, you don't understand." she says, "you're right, I don't. Care to explain?" I ask. She sighs and sits down on the couch, I go and sit next to her. "Jesse is the guys that turned me into a vampire, he's my ex..." She said. I gasp, "ugh I knew there was something off about him!" I say angrily. "Yeah and you need to watch who you bleed around, your blood is special, it's the same as Ethan's." she explains. I look at Ethan, "a pint of your blood was worth more than everything at that blood truck..." I say, Ethan nods, I look down at my arm and sigh. "So what, he was trying to drink my blood?" I ask, "knowing him, he definitely would've..." she said. "I don't even know how he came back, he should be gone..." Sarah said, " we have to keep you safe y/n..." she says looking at me.

I decided to stay at Ethan's that night and just have a sleepover with Ethan, Benny, Sarah, and Rory. Sarah said she'd be look out to make sure Jesse doesn't find me, "don't worry, I won't let him hurt you..." Rory says, I smile sweetly at him. "Ah yes, I forget I have my own little vampire body guard!" I say ruffling his hair with my hand making him laugh, "I'm serious!" he said. "Well I'm tired, I love you all and goodnight!" I say plopping down on the floor and drifting off to sleep.

I wake up, oh thank God... I'm still in Ethan's room. I look and see Sarah fast asleep on Ethan's desk chair. I roll my eyes playfully at her. I get up and walk down stairs to get some water, I think everyone in the house was still sleeping because it was really quiet. As I take a sip of water I hear a tap on the kitchen window, I slowly look to see who it was, my heart fell to my stomach as I sat the glass on the counter, it was Jesse. He points to the window and I glare at him. I open the window slightly so I can hear him, thankfully vampires can only come in if there invited in. "What do you want?" I whisper, "I could smell you from a mile away..." he laughs. I roll my eyes, "I know who you are, more importantly... what you are." I say, Jesse smiles, "oh really? Wonder who told you that..." He says, his face becoming more serious now. "You need to go away and leave me alone" I say, "aww come on... I just want one little bitty taste..." he says, his fangs coming out. "I'd rather not become a vampire..." I whisper, he laughs, "awe but you'd look so good..." he says, "and you and your little vampire boyfriend can be together forever..." he says, I think for a moment. I never realized that when I grow old Rory will stay the same, and I'll die and he'll just stay here... "come on y/n... you give me what I want and you get to keep your boyfriend..." he says. I stared at him, I close the window and shut the blinds, sighing as I look down at the floor.
