Moon was not one for cosplay, or dress-up of any kind for that matter. You could occasionally get him to try on your latest sewing project, but he had very strict rules as to what you could and couldn't make him wear. Sometimes, you could get him to model a dress or two, but you'd have to give him a really good incentive to do so. So, when Monty told the other performers at the Pizzaplex that he'd give the first person to get Moon into a Sailor Moon cosplay $200, you knew for a fact you'd be getting that money in less than a week.
"Are you sure you don't want help?" Sun asked
"Positive," you said.
The blond's eyebrows furrowed as he frowned, his right cheek pulling in slightly signaling he was biting it. You knew why he was concerned. While Moon was definitely the calmer of the twins, he also wasn't taking the villain roles in the theater performances for no reason. He was one of the most terrifying stage performers in the Pizzaplex, the only one who was more terrifying being DJ.
"Alright, just... let me know if something goes wrong. I can't promise I can get him to calm down, but I can give you a head start."
You smiled and gave him a thumbs up. Grabbing the duffle bag with the costume in it, you began walking back to the changing rooms where you knew Moon was. You walked with long strides, a smile on your face. All you had to do was get Moon in the costume, snap a picture, then run for your life and hope you could send the picture to Monty before Moon caught you. You were also pretty sure you had the perfect plan as well.
Walking into the changing room, you looked around for your boyfriend. You saw him sitting at one of the mirrors, carefully wiping the makeup just below his eyes off with one of the makeup wipes. You walked up behind him, wrapping your arms over his shoulders and leaning against him. Moon's head tilted back to look up at you, a soft smile on his face.
"Were you really so impatient you couldn't wait for me to finish?" he asked.
"What? Are you complaining?"
"No, I'm not." Moon shifted around in his seat to where he was facing you a bit more. "So, what do you want? I'm assuming there's a reason you're here."
"I just have a little favor to ask of you."
"And what would that be?"
"I need you to put on something for me."
"And what would that be?"
"Just... trust me."
Moon raised an eyebrow as you held the bag out to him. You gave him the most innocent smile you could muster, causing him to let out a sigh. He took the bag from you, walking back into one of the impromptu changing rooms, which was basically just a bunch of different curtains hung up to create covered areas.
You sat down in one of the chairs in front of the vanity mirror, pulling out your phone and getting your camera ready. You had to be quick at getting the picture. If he realized what you were doing before you could take the photo, that $200 would be long gone.
"(y/n)."
"Did- did you put it on?" you asked, trying not to laugh.
"Why the fuck would I put this on?"
"Please?"
You heard Moon sigh, followed by some shuffling. "You're lucky I love you."
You grinned, doing a small fist pump. Everything was going according to plan. After a few minutes, you heard Moon let out a sigh. The curtain was pushed open and he stepped out, his arms crossed and an eyebrow raised. The skirt was a little longer than you expected, but maybe that was Monty knowing he'd get maimed if he made it too short. The boots made him a bit taller, which made him a little more visibly intimidating, and the top was pretty loose on him. You covered your mouth with one hand, trying to hold your phone as if you were just scrolling through your social media before he came out.
"You really think this is funny, don't you?"
"Monty sure will."
"Monty isn't going to see this. He is the last person who will ever see this."
"Alright, whatever you say."
As subtle as possible, you pressed the volume button on your phone, starting a 10 second timer on your camera.
"You should do the pose."
"I am not doing the pose."
"Come on, please."
"I never agreed to do anything other than-"
Flash.
Shit.
Your face went pale and Moon froze in place. The two of you stared at each other for what felt like hours. You could hear the faint sound of activity outside the changing room, or maybe it was echoing through the vents. You slowly began to move your phone closer to you.
"(y/n). Delete that."
"Delete what?"
"Delete. That. Photo."
"And what if I said no?"
"Then I'd have to delete it myself."
Moon took one step forward and you immediately sprang out of the chair you had been sitting in, launching yourself at the door and yanking it open before sprinting out into the hallway.
"(y/n)!"
Your shoes squeaking as you ran and skidded across the floor were accompanied by the faint sound of heels rapidly clicking behind you. You could feel your stomach drop as the sound grew louder. You knew you didn't have a lot of time before Moon would catch up to you, so you took out your phone and tried to pull up Monty's contact while you ran.
As you turned a corner, you felt your foot hit a particularly slippery spot and immediately slip out from underneath you. Your arms instinctively flew up to cover your face as for a moment, your body was completely disconnected from the ground. Then, before you could hit the ground, the back of your shirt was grabbed and you were yanked up. Your eyes met Moon's glaring, brownish-reddish ones. His dark blue hair was messy like your own (h/c) hair, but unlike you he wasn't gasping for breath.
"Delete. That. Photo," he growled.
"What if I said no?"
"Delete it."
"If I said it nicely?"
"De-lete. It."
There was a snort from behind the two of you and you both looked up to see Monty and Sun standing at the end of the hall. Sun was gripping onto Monty's arm, hunched over and looking like he was about to collapse into a fit of giggles while Monty had a huge grin on his face.
"Well, well, well, looks like you actually managed to do it. I'm impressed," the dark skinned man said. He walked up to the two of you, digging through one of his pockets before pulling out four fifty-dollar bills and holding them out to you. "Twohundred, as promised."
"Why am I not surprised you're behind all this," Moon grumbled. He picked you up and tossed you over his shoulder, snatching the money from Monty and waking away. "Do you know how dead you are?"
"Good dead or bad dead?"
"Both."
"Can it be a good dead if I delete the photo?"
"You gotta do more than just that now."
"I'll give you the money?"
"And?"
"Pay for our next date?"
"Alright. It can be a good dead."
