¹ 𝓲𝓷𝓯𝓮𝓻𝓷𝓸 | 𝙡. 𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙙𝙮 [DISCONTINUED; BEING REWRITTEN]

𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙬𝙤

Leon moved towards the blocked entrance way, pulling the dresser that was blocking their way up. The three moved onwards, crouching as they did so. M/N had his hand behind him, Ashley gripping it as they moved slowly behind Leon, who was creeping up behind one of the villagers who held a torch in their hand. M/N made the hand sign to Ashley, telling her to stop as they watched from a distance, Leon stood up behind the villager and stabbed the mad creature in its neck. M/N made a face of disgust as he heard his sister gag at the sight before them.

"Alright, let's keep moving," Leon whispered to them, M/N nodded and dragged his sister with him. M/N picked up on the chanting outside the gate, and knew that they would be in trouble if the group of deadly villagers saw them. As the trio tried to get to the gate un-noticed, a lone villager entered the front of the church, spotting the three. Leon stood up, pointing his gun at the villager as the twins copied him, Ashley gripped tighter onto her brother, fear striking her features. "They're coming. Get behind me!" Leon shouted to the twins.

"Yeah, no ship captain obvious!" M/N exclaimed in irritation as both him and Ashley stood behind Leon as he fired off his gun to the enemy in front of him. Ashley jumped at the sound, both of their eyes widening when they saw the villager still standing with his torch high in the air.

"Oh, god! What is wrong with these people!?" Ashley exclaimed, covering her ears as Leon continued to shoot at the villager that finally died from the gun fire. M/N watched as Leon went over to it and stabbed it in its neck. Ashley screamed beside him, causing the younger man to look over to see one of the villagers grabbing Ashley, trying to recapture her again.

"Oye! Get your filthy hands off my sister!" M/N exclaimed, before he too was held back by another villager. They were gonna get recaptured if Leon didn't get to them soon. He struggled against the one who had him, before it was shot in the head by Leon, stunning it, M/N took its arm and flipped it over his head before smashing its head with his boot. He looked over to see that his sister was also free, but she was on the ground, M/N went to her as Leon continued to fight off these stupid creatures. "Ash, hey, you okay?" M/N asked, helping her up.

"Yeah, I'm fine," She nodded, before latching back onto her brother's arm. He looked back towards Leon, noticing that he was nearly done dealing with the villagers that had come to capture the twins and kill Leon. Leon looked back at the two.

"Alright, come on, this way you two." Leon said, nodding to the way he had come from. M/N nodded back and took off towards Leon, Ashley holding onto the younger man's arm as they ran towards the agent. The rain falling from the sky was obscuring the poor man's vision, causing him to trip over a root that was on the trail the trio was walking down. Ashley let out a yelp as her hand slipped from M/N's arm when he fell forwards, in the mud that was created by the rain. Leon stopped when he heard the noise coming from behind him, to see Ashley trying to stifle her laughter behind her hand, his gaze went from her to her twin brother was was slowly sitting up, mud on his face and clothing. M/N glared up at his sister, shaking his hands off from the mud.

"I'm glad that my misery amuses you," he grumbled, only causing her to laugh more behind her hand. Leon was about to go and help up the boy, before said person decided to fling his hand out towards his sister, which made her gasp in shock when she felt the cold wet mud splatter on her face. Leon didn't know what to do at this moment, he was just stunned into silence watching as the twins seemed like they didn't have a care in the world when they were messing with each other, like they didn't just get kidnapped and know villagers where after them.

"Really?" Ashley spoke slowly, her eye twitching in slight annoyance, "You are so lucky it didn't get onto my shirt," she said, playfully glaring down at her brother. M/N smirked, slowly standing up, mud still covering him as Ashley backed up a bit, her eyes widening at what he was about to do.

"Ah, you're right. Why don't you give me a hug, then we can be matching sis," he tried to hug her, but Ashley ducked underneath his arms and went straight behind Leon, her hands on his shoulders as she used him as a human shield. Leon was in utter shock, trying to form words, but nothing came out, instead he was just standing there as Ashley's shield trying to understand what the two siblings where doing and why they were doing it now in all places. "Oye, don't hide behind him, That's cheating." He spoke again, causing Ashley to chuckle. Maybe being kidnapped with her brother kind of scrambled their brains a bit from being isolated from the outside world, it's probably why they're both showing off to the one person that wasn't some crazed villager.

Note: Not Leon being confused on why Ash and M/N are acting like kids, trying to get mud onto each other lol

I hope you guys liked this chapter, and yes, Ash and M/N are gonna continue to have these child-like interactions a lot, considering their siblings and they've been inseparable since birth, so they've always had childish outburst sometimes whenever something happens to their other half (like with what happened with M/N just now).
