"Oh my God, please calm down." Nischay's mother partially begged her husband, who was fuming with anger stomping his feet as he walked back and forth.

"What happened, mom?" Nischay asked to his mother. He was going to go school but stopped to see what was happening. But she didn't replied as she was busy controlling his father.

"Mom, Dad? What happened?" He asked again, almost begging for a response. This time his father looked at Nischay, his eyes all red with anger. He walked towards him. Nischay gulped in fear, recalling his activities to make sure he hadn't done anything wrong.

His father reached both of his hand and held his shoulder and shook him. "HE LEFT." As he finished, he sat on the sofa near them, massaging his forehead in frustration. "Who? Who left?" Nischay asked in confusion and looked at his mother.

"Nathan. He ran away." She said and handed out a note to Nischay. "I found this in his bedroom, this morning." Nischay looked at the note and opened it.

Good morning, mom and dad.

I know, you will be angry on me for doing this. But, I seriously can't do this anymore. I don't want to do this, whatever you're saying me to. I'm sorry for all the bad things, I've done. But, I cannot do this anymore. Mom, dad, please treat Nischay better. He does not deserve to be treated the way I was. Take care of yourselves. Nischay, take care okay? I might not show, but I love you all. Thank you for giving me this life. And, I'm sorry. I'm leaving, don't come to find me.

Your son, Nathan.

He could not believe his eyes. He could not believe his brother left him all alone. He could not believe what he was reading. But, Nischay couldn't break down. He had to be strong, for his parents. He looked up after he finished reading.

"Dad, will you send people to find him?" Nischay asked, hoping his father wouldn't get angry on him. He looked calm now. "Ofcourse, not. Why should I waste my time on such a disappointment? Look Nischay, Nathan is not here anymore now. I need you to take his place. You will continue our legacy. You will take my position. I'm taking down your name from the music school, you're not pursuing that career anymore. You are going to a business school. "

Nischay, who was too stunned to speak anything just stared at his father. So, now his life is destroyed? Because of his brother? Now he had to give up on his dream, just like his brother did? He knew, he couldn't disagree. He didn't want to be a disappointment.

So, he agreed. "Okay dad. If you say so, I will." As Nischay said those words his father's face lit up. He patted his shoulder and said, "This is my son. I will enroll your name to a school today itself, you will get your supplies by tonight." His father said and Nischay nodded.

"Dad?"

"Yes son?"

"What about my school today? What about the event tomorrow? I've a group to lead." He asked his father, who looked at him and said, "Call your mates and teacher and tell him, you're changing schools. Nothing more than that. You are not performing in the event." Nischay felt bad. He felt broken from the fact that, his life would not be his anymore. He nodded and went to his room.

He took out his phone and called the teacher first, the call was answered in the first ring.

"Hello?"

"Good morning teacher, this is Nischay speaking."

"Ah, Nischay! What makes you call me?"

"I'm sorry teacher, I cannot attend the event tomorrow. I'm changing schools. It's urgent."

"What? Oh no, what about your group?"

"Don't worry about them teacher, they will perform."

"Okay child, all the best in whatever you're doing now."

Nischay thanked his teacher and ended the call. As he ended the call he called Jay and Erica on conference. He thanked God that they answered.

"Nischay why aren't you here yet?" Erica yelled, partially making him go deaf.

"Guys, look, I won't be there anymore-" Nischay started but was immediately interrupted by Jay.

"WHAT? What you mean by 'anymore'? " Both of them yelled at him.

"Look, don't interrup me now. Something really terrible has happened in my family and I'm forced to attend the business school now. I'll- take..over my father's position. My father has already taken my name down from there." Nischay said.

"WHAT THE FUCK! You can't leave us like that. This is so bad Nischay. You said you'd never go to that position." Erica said while Jay just stood shocked.

"I'm sorry guys, I know I said but things are different now. I beg you to understand. Also, I called the teacher and told them you all will perform tomorrow. So, go and practice for tomorrow. If you need you can look for a dancer, but I think you all will do good. You need to do it. Also, now I might not talk much, as I am going to be very busy with studies." He said falsely smiling.

"Okay. We'll try. Take care hm?" Erica said and Nischay nodded.

As the call ended, he sighed thinking how drastically his life had changed in just one day. Thinking how hard it is going to be for him to keep up with the rank, he laid on the bed. His brother normally scored 98%. How will he be as good as him, or better? Because his father had clearly said to Nathan, he needed to score 100%. How will Nischay be better?

He rose from the bed and went towards his father's room. He asked if he could go out to their club and fortunately his father agreed saying he should call and ask her too. Taking his car keys, he called someone to ask if they could accompany him.

"Hello?"

"Hello, love."
