The unexplainable tension was all around the waiting area, the greatest of the enemies were forced to be around each other, again.

Fate really does wonders.

The more they wanted to drift apart, the closer the situations brought them. Campbells and Malhans, they for sure wanted to establish the greatest of all the rivalry.

But as they say, if fate wants something to happen, it shall happen.

Both the families sat in the same waiting room, across from each other. Ava sat with the Campbells for which she cursed her luck.

The air was thick around the room. The glares kept on being exchanged, jaws clenched and the knuckles turned pale white due to the force being applied.

Ava wanted revenge. She wanted his girlfriend and him to regret every bit of their decisions. She was furious to see her best friend lying on her bed, looking almost lifeless. She was fighting for her life.

The Ross family was also present in the room. They looked quite well doing, but their faces held no fear or panic at all. They looked like they wanted to leave.

No one in the room spoke. It was one hell of a situation.

Ava's pov

I can't stand this situation. This disgustingly sculptured guy with no brains is sitting in front of me right now and I can't even do anything.

Seriously God? Why would you have to put me in a situation like this?

I want to leave but I wouldn't ever dare to.

I can't let Arreum fight alone, she has lost so much blood, and the doctors have not informed about her situation. But they said it was critical.

I warned her. I warned her to stay away from this family. I warned her to not go anywhere near him or anyone associated with him.

I warned her but scratch it! This girl never listens to me! Does she like him or something? She's always with him, even if she isn't, something definitely happens to bring them both close.

What does fate want, huh?

I have to talk to the guy. I need to put him in place. And I am going to do it.

Even if it takes me to put on a show. Anything for Arreum.

I stood up and called out his name, "Nischay, I have to talk to you. Mind accompanying me outside?" I straightforwardly said, my British accent does stand out.

My voice echoed in the dangerously silent room and all the heads turned towards us. All three families were watching us in utter confusion.

Nischay sat very disturbed, and when my voice reached his ears, he immediately stood up. As if he was waiting for someone to rescue him out of the situation.

Such a nice person I am. Ain't I?

He replied in an instant, "Sure. Let's go."

I rolled my eyes at this annoying creature, "After you." I said and motioned him to go first.

We both successfully got out of that suffocating room. And as soon as my nose came in contact with the fresh air outside, I sighed heavily.

"Oh god. That was one hell of a situation." I whispered.
