"Caps off to you graduates! Congratulations!" Our now former Principal congratulates

The crowd erupts in whoops, cheers, hollers, and clapping.

Senior year of Highschool is the year of figuring out what's next, because what comes next is all on you.

I thought I had everything figured out early, I was comfortable being who I was. Invisible, two friends, keeping my head down. That isn't who I am though, I'm proud, confident, and have an amazing girlfriend.

"We did it!" Sarah screeches as she comes over to hug me.

"Yeah we did!" Jackson joins in, picking us both up.

I laugh "Okay put me down."

I hear a squeal as arms come around my neck "We graduated!"

I laugh again and wrap my arms around Ariella's waist "Yeah we did!"

She steps back and looks at everybody "Okay I gotta get going but I'll see you guys back at me and Baileys?"

"Of course." I answer.

"Great!" She kisses me on the cheek and skips off to get set up for the after celebration.

As I stand in front of Bailey's house music from my childhood falls through the door and into the drive, a sense of dejavu gently passes over me.

"Seems like forever ago.." Sarah comments.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well I remember standing in front of a grand house, albeit a different house. And trying to convince a certain someone to stop fiddling with her dress."

I smile and look at my hands that are calmly at my side-not fiddling at my dress.

Sarah crooks her arm around mine and walks us through the doors.

Ariella comes up to us through the crowd and grabs my hand "If you don't mind I have to borrow Lee for a second."

Before an answer can be given she pulls me through the crowd and up the stairs.

"Why are we in such a hurry?" I ask.

"We'll miss it if we don't." She says as we enter a room, almost an exact replica of Ariella's old room. We pass everything and head straight for the balcony.

I knowingly smile "I have a feeling sunsets are gonna become a tradition for us."

She smiles and giggles "Well I thought since we ended summer with a sunset, we should end our last highschool year with one too. Since we're just cheesy like that."

I smile and pull her close by her waist. "Yeah we are."
