*Annabelle's POV*

Who's the most popular girl in school, you might ask? Well that's easy, it's me.

I have long, bleach blond hair that is always perfectly styled. I have the most up-to-date clothes. Everyone always compliments me on how great I look.

I play volleyball- the cool girl sport. I already have multiple scholarships for volleyball and I'm only a junior. I plan to graduate high school, go to college to be a nurse, and marry my boyfriend.

Oh yeah, I haven't told you about him. My boyfriend is the most popular guy in school- Pete Winswark. He is tall and super muscular. He is super sweet and brings me a rose every Monday. We have been dating for the past three months. It's amazing!

I'm jerked out of my pitiful daydream by the realization that I'm walking on the wrong side of the hall. Walking on the wrong side of the hall in our school is a very dangerous-at least for nobodies like me. I heard a story that one girl got her nose broken from walking on the wrong side of the hall- I'm probably their next victim.

Walking towards me is Pete Winswark! He looks great today. The tight gray t-shirt he's wearing shows off his awesome biceps. I completely forget that I'm walking on the wrong side of the hall.

I look beside Pete. Oh joy! Pete is walking with none other than Shawn Cadowe. He has been trying for years to take Pete's place as Mr. Popular but no one can compare to Pete.

Oh my goodness! I'm walking on the wrong side of the hall! I realize for the second time.

It's too late. Pete and Shawn and the pack of kids getting out of lunch are so close to me that I can almost taste the tacos they had to eat today.

I feel like a deer caught in the headlights. There's no time for me to dash over to the other side of the hall. I try to squeeze up against the wall but it doesn't work. Shawn's muscly shoulder (not as muscly as Pete's, I might add) smacked me right across the face.

I fall to the ground. Who knew Shawn Cadowe's shoulder would hurt so bad? I try to keep anyone from seeing the pain I'm in but I can't.

"Owwwwwww," I moan.

Shawn picks me up with one hand and slams me against the wall. I let out yet another cry of pain. He has no reason to be so mean! I should scream at him right here and tell him he should be more careful. But do I? No, of course not- he wouldn't listen to me.

I'm not a big talker, so I just stand there smushed against the wall as people walk by. I see my best friend, Oliver, walk by. He looks at me, shrugs his shoulders, and walks by.

Now I'm really mad. He is the one person I will yell at and he is gonna get it next time I see him!

Well the rush of people has gone so off to lunch. I know I'm late but they won't care. As I walk through the cafeteria doors, people stare and point at me.

What??
