Carson and Ivan had been best friends for years, and they were used to expressing their love for each other in a platonic way. One day, Carson said "I love you, man" to Ivan, but Ivan's heart skipped a beat. He had always been straight, but suddenly, he found himself questioning his feelings for Carson. He didn't want to ruin their friendship, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more there. 2 days before school started, he decided to talk to Carson about it. When he did, Carson just laughed and said
"Dude, I love you, but not like that."
Ivan felt a wave of relief wash over him, and the two of them laughed it off. In the end, they knew that their friendship was strong enough to withstand anything, even a little confusion about their feelings.

" Love you too mom!" said Ivan as he closed the door of his moms car. His mom earlier asked if he wanted her to drop him off school, however he inisited and asked her to drop him off Carsons home which was 12 minutes away from their home. As he saw Carson in front of his house from a inch away his eyes grew wider and he smiled of happiness. They dabbed each other and started walking towards school. It was only a 5 minute walk so they weren't going to be late.
Ivan and Carson were starting their junior year of high school, and they were excited about all the possibilities that lay ahead. As they walked down the hallway on the first day of school, Ivan's excitement turned to sadness when he saw his ex-girlfriend, Riley.
"Aw shit man." Ivan said to himself
Carson noticed the change in Ivan's demeanor and asked him what was wrong. Ivan couldn't hide his emotions any longer and told Carson that seeing Riley again had brought back a lot of painful memories. Carson put his arm around his friend and tried to comfort him.
"I know it's hard, man," he said.
"But you're going to get through this. You're strong, and you have so many good things ahead of you."
Ivan appreciated Carson's words of encouragement, but he still felt a sense of loss and regret. He had loved Riley deeply, and he couldn't help but wonder what could have been if they had stayed together.
As the rest of the day went on, Carson continued to be a supportive friend to Ivan, listening to him and offering advice when he could. Slowly but surely, Ivan began to heal, realizing that the pain of the breakup would fade with time, and that he had a good friend by his side to help him through it all. He wasn't gonna let some girl ruin his first day of Junior year.
" Highschool relationships don't last anyway." said Ivans so called "friend" named Cole.
"Mhm." said Ivan with a annoyed tone
Cole and Ivan had been friends for years, but their relationship was anything but straightforward. They had a love-hate dynamic that sometimes made things difficult between them. Cole was always pushing Ivan out of his comfort zone, trying to get him to try new things and be more adventurous. Ivan sometimes found this annoying, but he also appreciated Cole's boldness and admired him for his fearlessness. They knew that their friendship was built on a foundation of mutual love and respect, even if it was sometimes tested by their different personalities. They had been through so much together, and they knew that no matter what, they would always be there for each other.
The rest of the afternoon brought a new set of challenges for Ivan. He had a difficult math class to look forward to, and he was still adjusting to the new schedule. But as he entered the classroom, he reminded himself that he was capable and determined to make this year a success. He took a deep breath and took his seat, ready to tackle whatever came his way.
