Ivan paced nervously at the park, waiting for Carson to arrive. He had been planning this moment for weeks, rehearsing what he would say over and over again in his head. He had finally worked up the courage to tell Carson how he felt, but now that the moment was here, he felt like he might throw up.
Just then, he saw Carson walking towards him with a smile on his face. Ivan's heart skipped a beat. He took a deep breath and said, "Hey, Carson. Thanks for meeting me here."
Carson grinned. "Of course, Ivan. What's up?"
Ivan took a deep breath and said, "I don't really know how to say this, but...I have feelings for you. I've had them for a while now, and I just couldn't keep it inside anymore."
Carson's smile faltered for a moment, and Ivan felt his heart sink. But then Carson's face softened, and he said, "Ivan, I had no idea. But I have to be honest with you too. I have feelings for you too."
Ivan's heart soared. He couldn't believe it. After all this time, Carson felt the same way about him.
Meanwhile, at the café, Riley was also confessing her feelings to Cole. She had been nervous all day, but as she spoke, she felt a sense of calm wash over her.
"Cole, I don't really know how to say this, but I have feelings for you. I've had them for a long time now, and I just couldn't keep them inside anymore."
Cole looked at her, his expression unreadable. For a moment, Riley thought she had made a mistake. But then he reached across the table and took her hand, and she felt a jolt of electricity shoot through her.
"Riley, I had no idea. But I have to be honest with you too. I have feelings for you too."
Riley felt like she was in a dream. After all the pain and heartache, she had finally found someone who felt the same way about her.
As they both sat in stunned silence, Ivan and Carson arrived at the café, holding hands. When they saw Riley and Cole, they exchanged surprised glances. Ivan had known that Riley had a crush on Cole, but he had no idea that she was confessing her feelings at the same time he was.
Cole looked up and saw them, and his face lit up in recognition. "Ivan! What are you doing here?"
Ivan felt a little awkward, but he couldn't help but smile. "Actually, I'm here with Carson. We have something to tell you guys too."
As they all sat down together, Riley and Ivan explained what had happened between them. They both felt a little embarrassed, but they knew that they had to be honest.
Cole and Carson were both surprised, but they took the news in stride. They were happy for their friends, and they both felt like it was fate that had brought them all together.
As they all talked and laughed together, Riley and Ivan couldn't help but steal glances at each other. They both knew that things would be different now that they had confessed their feelings to their crushes, but they also knew that they would always have a special connection.
As the evening drew to a close, they all hugged each other tightly. Riley and Ivan exchanged one last look, and then they went their separate ways, both feeling like they were starting a new chapter in their lives. They didn't know what the future held, but they knew that they had each other and that was all that mattered.

(Carsons POV)
Carson had spent hours crafting the perfect confession letter to Ivan. He poured his heart out on the pages, detailing how he had been harboring feelings for his friend for years. He was finally ready to take the next step and tell Ivan how he felt.
But fate had a different plan. The same day that Carson was planning to give the letter to Ivan, his friend beat him to the punch and confessed his own feelings. Carson couldn't believe it - he had been so close to being the first one to confess.
At first, Carson felt disappointed that Ivan had taken his chance away. But as he thought about it more, he realized how funny the situation was. Here he was, agonizing over the perfect way to confess to Ivan, only to be beat to the punch by his friend.
He couldn't help but laugh at the situation. He even showed the letter to Ivan, who found it hilarious. They both laughed and joked about how they had been hiding their feelings for each other for so long.
Despite the initial disappointment, Carson felt relieved that he didn't have to go through with giving the letter to Ivan. It would have been awkward to confess his feelings after his friend had already done so. Plus, now that they both knew how they felt, they could finally move forward with their relationship.
In the end, Carson was glad that Ivan had confessed first. It saved him the trouble of having to give the letter and risk ruining their friendship. And now, they could focus on exploring their newfound feelings for each other, without any hidden secrets or unspoken emotions.
Looking back, Carson couldn't help but chuckle at the situation. His confession letter had become a funny anecdote to share with Ivan and their friends. But he knew that he wouldn't have wanted it any other way - the way things played out was perfect in its own way.
