eating.

rylie and shay get to nylas house 20 minutes after rylie left. nyla gets in the car and they drive off to Tequila, a mexican restaurant.

the waiter walks up to them saying, "how many?"

"three," shay says.

"okay," he grabs three menus and walks them to a booth. nyla and shay sit on one side and rylie on the other. "what would you like to drink?"

"i'll do a water, please," shay responds.

"can i please have a ski?" nyla asks. the waiter nods his head.

"umm i'll have a coke please," rylie says.

"okay. that'll be right out."

there's barely anyone in the restaurant. the girls look over the menu, deciding on what they want to get. the waiter comes back with their drinks, along with some chips and salsa. "can we get some cheese sauce too, please?" nyla asks.

"of course. i'll be right out with that."

about 2 minutes later, he comes back. "here you go. now whats can i get you nice ladies to eat?"

"can i have the taco salad with extra meat?" rylie asks.

"yes, yes. and for you?" he looks at nyla.

"uh i'll just have some chicken and rice. i'm not too hungry right now."

"okay. and you?" he looks at shay.

"i'll do the chicken burrito with rice on the side. and can you drizzle some cheese on the rice?"

he nods.

"thank you," shay says.

they stack their menus while the waiter is writing and rylie hands them to him when he's done. "it'll be right out."

"rylie did u see the way he looked at you?!" nyla says.

"yeah i saw. he's not that cute though. josh is cuter," rylie responds with puppy dog eyes.

"oh my gosh rye you've been drooling over him since like the 5th grade. it's been 6 years dude. get over him already," shay responds.

"i can't shay. he has a piece of my heart," she says dramatically, holding her hand to her heart.

"oh my god rylie. you're so dramatic," nyla says and they all start laughing.

while they wait for their food, the girls talk about what they're going to do at the fair later that night.

"i think we should race to the farris wheel as soon as we get there," shay says, "so we can check out all the hot boys there." she winks and rylie.

"yea rye, maybe you can find someone other than josh, who is CLEARLY not into you," nyla responds.

"says the one who's never talked to a guy before," rylie snaps back and shay bursts into laughter. nyla just sits there with a pouty face and her arms crossed like a toddler. not long after, the waiter walks up with their food.

he hands it out to them and they start eating as if they have been starved for years. they're done eating within 30 minutes. the waiter comes over and gives them the check.

"i'll get it," rylie says and snatches the check.

"oh my god rylie," nyla responds. "how much is it? i'll leave the tip."

"uh it's $52.84"

"ok," nyla says and gets out a $10 bill.

nyla and shay get up and walk out to the car while rylie goes to the front to pay. after about 5 minutes, rylie comes out to the car.

they head out to the fairgrounds, which is like a 45 minute drive.

"what time will we get there?" nyla asks.

rylie responds, "well with shays driving probably at 9:00." nyla strts laughing.

"not true," shay says. "well it's 6:30 now so we'll probably get there around 7:15 maybe a little later because of traffic and parking."

"okay," nyla says, "so we going to start jamming or what?"
