Chapter 2

Today was the THE day, the day where everyone shows their presentations of the plants they studied, griffin and Harper were so nervous even tho they spent that last few days rehearsing what they were gonna say and they got real close to one another

"Ok griffin so you go and say *this is the discovery about the plants at the Tremont* and then I pull the poster out and set it up with the names,types and what each plant looks like" Harper says walking around with a clipboard"mhm you got it" griffin replies

"Um next up is griffin and Harper" mr smith says "I'm griffin and this is Harper *harper waves* and this is our presentation of the plants near my home, the Tremont"

*explains the stuff*

"Wow uhm that would go alot better than I thought" mr smith said

"Griffin you did so much better than the rehearsals" "yeah I guess I did" Harper hugged griffin for the first time and he hugged her back it was a wholesome moment. Everyone in the class turned and saw them hugging, as a whole they all awed

After a whole day of "awee" "you two would be so cute tg" the day was over and griffin and Harper were hanging out and their parents became best friends too!

See now they weren't that close cause they just met but when they were with each other it felt like they've known each other forever but they don't hang out all the time cause harper has ballet and griffin has guitar lessons o they can't be together all the time but today his practice got cut so he could stay home.

Today was one of the biggest days of harpers life she was gonna take all of the practice to one. Big. Day. Nationals (I actually know nothing about ballet so I don't even know if there is nationals) her friends said "they couldn't go" cuase they became sick at the same time but I'm reality they were having a sleepover with out her but griffin said "of course I'll go with you"

Harper was so scared but when she saw griffin it flew away knowing someone other than her family was there but also her friend

SEEING FROM GRIFFIN NOW

we were almost late cause of the traffic but we got there and I saw her smile when I walked in apparently she told her dance mates about me so they ran up to me asking a lot of questions but one that caught my eye was "are you guys dating?" I'm pretty sure it was this girl with blonde hair and grey eyes but I couldn't really tell and when the girls and the boys let me have some space Harper ran up to me hugging me so I did too I mean- who doesn't hug someone back when they hug you

After all of that we got our seat and waited for it to start Harper was the last person in line so it was a while

During harpers turn she did it perfectly I was so amazed and when it was over I wished she could do it again

When the judges spoke about the winners I was bitting my nail— like a lot — but my heart skipped a few beats when I heard "and 1st place goes to... *opens a envelop* Harper Dunn!! Congratulations Harper you have won nationals!"

I screamed in joy when I heard her name I was like the loudest out of everyone. Harper heard me, looked up and smiled at me

While we left Harper ran up to me and hugged me from the behind/side I said "I CANT BELIEVE YOU WON NATIONALS" Harper replied to me by saying "I CANT EITHER" her mom had to take Topher home to sleep cause he needed to be asleep right now

So Harper rode home with the Campbells let's just say their car rides were a lot more fun— they got ice cream, sand to Disney songs and went to the park before all going home

Since she rode home with them Jess decided to let her stay the night there cause (1) it was the weekend and (2) she didn't want to drive and get her

While the Dunns house was VERY quiet the Campbell house had a party for Harper winning and was awake until 1am when they decided to go to bed Harper slept in griffins room but they didn't sleep at all they were playing games and doing some fun stuff before going to bed for real this time

But tomorrow was just gonna get even more better.

This is my longest chapter I've ever made 830 words!! That's crazy man I normally do 450-600. Anyways I hope you like this one and I was forced to change ballet to dance cause of lily
