Chapter 4

It's been a few months since Harper stormed out of my house and stopped taking to me

Everyone was freaked out that we didn't talk and since Harper was "the popular girl" everyone defended her and bullied me

It pained Harper seeing me get bullied and it pained me to see that Harper and Shawn were dating

Ever since Harper mad Shawn started dating Harper always came to school with bruises, she tried to break up with him all the time

Then one day, she reached out to griffin while he was eating dinner with his family and His eyes flew up and left the the house in his car to harpers house and picked her up while Shawn was out and took her back to his house where she was asked many questions on why she looked like that

"Um Shawn— my boyfriend he started hitting me" even tho she hurt griffin and the twins hated her now they still hugged her and griffin and the parents it was a wholesome time until  they  heard a knock on their door and it was shawn

Ben and Sarah called the police on him and he got sent to jail

"YOU WILL RUE THUS DAY" Shawn yelled as he got taken away

The twins went to bed and the adults went to talk in the kitchen so that left Harper and griffin alone so they went up to griffins room

As soon as Harper closed the doors in griffin room Harper broke down into tears trying to say "I'm sorry griffin for not believing you I wanted 2 talk to you but he forced me to not talk to you ever again so he did that and he started abusing me after a few weeks I tried reaching out to you but you blocked me so I couldn't reach out and- and  I did like you I really meant it when I-" she was cut off my a soft, warm kiss from her (hopefully) best friend again

Wyatt and zoey were in the closet watching them (somehow instead of going to bed they went to griffins room) until  Wyatt knocked over a box that opened the door and caught griffin and Harper still kissing

Zoey couldn't resist "ARE YOU GUYS DATING" griffin and Harper gave each other a look that meant are we?

"PLEASE PLEASEEEEEE" zoey went on her knees and begged "you know what we are" Harper said

Everyone left the room but zoey she wanted to know who made the first move so she asked them "who made the first move" she walked around griffins room hyperventilating, griffin and Harper looked at each other and griffin said "I did" "woah woah my brother. Made the FIRST MOVE" zoey yelled

"Yes, yes its true zoey griffin made the first move" harper said "ok tell me how it happened

"Well it was a few months ago we snuck out and we didn't come home till like 1:30AM and before griffin left me cause I he went into my room too. he pecked a kiss on my cheek then I kissed him back but then all of this happened and well you can tell"

"Woahhh, but I'm still mad at you my brother was crying for weeks after you did that" "SHHHHH SHE WASNT SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT" "oh" harper replied to what griffin said

Zoey left the room putting her two fingers out from her eyes her harpers eyes. When she finally left Harper said "ya know, when I first met you I first saw your eyes those hazel eyes. They were the first thing I thought about you" griffin smiled at Harper and put on some music to dance to and i dipped her (I think that's what it called I had to ask safari about this and didn't get a answer) her warm back on my cold hand I leaned in and kissed her

Out of all of the small conversations that were going on during this the only thing that you could hear was, the loud clapping, the "woooo's"

Topher was "mad" he didn't get homecoming king but Wyatt said "be glad you didn't get king or else you would've had to dance with your sister"

"Ya know harper I forgive you now" "it took three years for me to be forgiven"

Harper and griffin went to the field and played around then they kissed. After everyone went home griffin drove Harper back to her moms house where they both got greeted by harpers mom with hugs and "I'm so proud of you"

At home, griffin walked in the door with a surprise a WHOLE PARTY this is the first time griffin had a party for him about something big in a longggggg time. They stayed up until 12. He called Harper asking some weird questions "does this mean I get special treatment like reserved parking or or prime seating in the prime seating in the lunch room" Harper chuckled saying "goodnight griffin" after Harper fell asleep griffin smile himself to sleep knowing he hit the jackpot in girlfriends.

Griffin had this paper wrote to him back in 2021 when Harper first met him it said

Dear griffin, I just met you but I know for a fact we have something I don't know what it is but I know also I think it eyes— which I found out where hazel — are very pretty the first thing I saw when I met you hope we stay friends

Love , you dear friend Harper/locker ninja

He smiled rereading that. He reread it a lot like all the time before bed it brought him comfort

I found this so cute but cringy while reading so sorry. Btw the 2024 thing was just for fun it's not staying so the next chapter will be 2021 again
