Chapter 3

It was the morning harper woke up first at 6am griffin woke up later at 6:15am from Harper opening the door to go back in the room they were both half wake Harper knows what she does when she's like that but griffin ? When he's like that he's not in control of his body or His words it takes control of him and speaks the truth

"Harper what are you doing up" griffin asked reaching his hand out to Harper "I had to go to the bathroom" Harper replied tip toeing to close the door "well come back here and lay with me" they layed together the rest of the night till 9am when they both awoke with Harper in griffins arms

"Good morning har— woah" "hm oh" they both layed in griffin bed not moving at all them Harper decided to get up and get something to eat and griffin followed cause he was hungry as well they both were wondering when did this happen but brushed it off knowing it was prob when they was half awake and half asleep

The morning was still awkward they didn't talk to each other cause they were confused on what happened during that night

Jess was wondering why they didn't talk to each other so, she asked Ben and ben replied  with "at 8:38 I'm pretty sure I walked into griffins room and saw him  and Harper in each other's arms sleeping so maybe they saw that when they woke up?"

It was 11am griffin and Harper finally talked to each other while they were playing Harper was also trying to teach griffin how to paint and that went horrible they laughed a lot but then Griffin asked something "do you know why we woke up in each other's arms" "no I don't" when harper said that she lied cause she knew why she just didn't want to tell him

It hurt lying to him she was gonna have to tell him one day but right now they are focused on something else painting

Griffin "accidentally" threw paint at her and that ended up in a paint fight

After a few minutes of cleaning up their mess griffin sat on his bed while Harper walked around his room in circles trying to find an idea so they can do something then she got an idea

"WAIT how about we sneak out" she jumped on my bed when she said that and pushed me down so now her body is on mine "pleaseeeeeeee" I finally agreed  so we snuck out.

Since it was a school night Harper had to be home by 12 she knew that so we had an hour before she had to be home I made sure my siblings were asleep and my mom and dad were in their room

We went all around town we went to this new store that has antiques Harper begged me for this weird clock thing and I gave in good thing I still get allowance

Later we went to the mall surprisingly they were still open i spent about 200 on Harper and 100 on me and 70$ more for food not only was I full my phone was full with so many pictures of us

Time went by so fast it was already 12 Harper suggested "we should stay out longer I mean they won't know unless we get caught sneaking back in"

So, we caught a movie a horror movie I thought Harper would be the one that isn't scared of horror movies turns out she was even more scared than me

She jumped on me like 5 times I don't even know what the movie was about all I remember was that there was this killer Ethan laundry that was pretty much it I couldn't focus on the movie when Harper jumped on me and when she grabbed my hand so tight I almost couldn't breathe

We decided to go home at 1:23 and we got to her house at 1:40 we snuck in through her window— I almost fell — and once she got to her room and layed down with her covers i gave her my bracelet and I kissed her cheek and hopped out her window now that I think about it I wish I didn't do that but before I hopped and before I mens like my leg was out already and my other wasn't she sprung out of bed and kissed me back

Getting into my room from a tree was hard, but I made it back I went under the covers it was easy to go to sleep but very hard all he could think about was "are we together?" "Does she actually like me back?" "Does she hate me now?" It was about 10 minutes later when he fell asleep

It was morning, griffin wouldn't get out of bed. Why? It's because he snuck out and didn't come home till 2am and he has to get up at 6 in the morning every day for school

Griffin walked into school looking like his normal self and Harper walked in like her normal self 2 only different thing is she was wearing my bracelet

We chatted the whole time before we got into class everything was fine until we heard that a new student had transferred here

Mr smith introduced him his name was "Shawn burns" Harper saw him and practically had heart eyes and that annoyed griffin so much his "did that kiss even matter" thoughts came back "does she like him?"  "Did our kiss mean anything to her"

The worst parts about him coming was Harper annoyed me to whole day and it looked like he took a liking back to her

At home, I checked my phone cause I left it here I had 100's of messages wondering why I ignored her as if se didn't ignore me with that ShAwN person I walked around my room for a while until I heard the door knock. It was zoey, Harper texted her to ask griffin why I ignored her all day  I just simply replied with "she ignored me when this new guy name Shawn joined our school" then it hit zoey "you have a rush on Harper and ur jealous of the new kid"

Later that night I got a text from a random number saying "stay away from Harper shes mine" i instantly knew it was Shawn I tried to tell Harper about this but she just got mad at me and said "your just mad I made a new friend she stormed out of my house

Zoey came into my room after hearing this and hugged me while I bursted into tears.
