Chapter - 29

"the smell of coffee doesn't come off of his hands even if he washes it with soap!" rampo says cheerfully. "that's all i've got going for me." the cafe owner says calmly. "badass!"

from the corner of her eyes,y/n spotted a blurry man peeking from the sides of the cafe door. she narrows  her eyes and looks away.

times skip

"and also about that guild straggler" atsushi said and the cafe bell rang."welcome back" the cafe owner claims as a red haired girl walks in with a metal box in her box."i'd like to introduce our new staff member,Lucy." the owner says.

a good minute passes as atsushi and the newly announced worker stared at eachother blankly .,"why are you here?" atsushi  asked lucy nervously. "...because i feel like it!" lucy threw the metal box towards the were tiger.

the h/c haired lady carelessly walked around the park with thoughts surrounding her mind. 'was it right..? it's because of me right? oh no don't. don't think like that. you couldn't do anything but help him from getting abused by Mori. but but wait. didn't i abuse him too? not just that but mori abused him behind my back breaking our promise. how could he do such things to a mere 14 year old boy. he had to bare too much for me...it's my fault that now he's obsessed with suicide...'

flashback

a young  girl not far from being 12-13 years stomped angrily towards the older male's office with pure rage. "mori!" she shouted his name storming inside his office. "oh my little sugerpie! what a surprise, i was about to call yo-" before he could say anything else,knives were sent directly towards his eyes, stopping just before his eyes,"why did you kill that old man IN FRONT OF A KID!" She raises her voice midway sending a knife towards his right cheek cutting it slightly."why did you kill boss.." she whispers but loud enough for the black haired male to hear, a black shadow covering her eyes. "calm down, yako. you are matured enough to understand the situ-" before he could finish she once again sent another knife cutting his right cheek slightly. "i'll be the one to monitor that kid and i don't want to hear another word from you. just so you know that i don't accept you as my boss because i know your wicked schemes and plans. and i need you to promise me that you wouldn't touch that boy. i will take responsibility of him" she says blankly at the male who was staring at her with wide eyes filled with shocked feelings

back to present

she fell down as a black haired lady bumped onto her,"i'm sorry!" she ran away without looking back. her black hair flowing within. "y/n! are you okay?" there kunikida rushed to the h/c haired lady to extend a helping hand. she saw the blond mafioso and guy running at the lady's direction.she took his hand and stood up. she also spotted atsushi who was also running to her way,"y/n san! are you okay?!" he asked. "uh yeah but why is katai-kun chasing the black haired lady along with higuchi chan?"
