Famous magician and loving father, Oleboheng Tladi is well on his route to achieve his dream of being one of the best Magicians in the world. With the whole of Africa behind him when he was to take part in the International Magicians competition:  World's Greatest Magician, he was about to have it all; but his insecurities and bad decisions eventually led to his own demise...

Oleboheng was born in Lesotho as one half of the Tladi twins (the other being Moleboheng Tladi), to the stay-at-home-mom Dineo Tladi and Magician father, Thuso Tladi. It is no secret that he got his love for magic from his father; soon after, the family moved into South Africa and settled in Kroonstad. The father would travel the country to perform to large audiences and often leave them wondering how he did it. As the twins grew older, he began to teach them some tricks as well, and soon after, they would perform with him on stage. Oleboheng often looked up to his sister (after their father) when it came to magic, since she was often learning and adapting faster than he did.

Not long after moving into South Africa, the mother of the twins, Dineo, disappeared without a trace. Police searched for her day and night, but she was never found. Oleboheng and his sister were scarred by this, and they weren't able to perform for months; but they were shocked to see the father was able to continue with his tours and performances.

However, it didn't take long for Moleboheng to mysteriously disappear as well. She as well, was never found. This made Oleboheng extremely sad, and he felt as if his family was targeted. His father also began to perform less, and shortly after, he fell severely ill from an unknown disease. Within a week of being ill, it was becoming obvious that Thuso wasn't going to be able to survive. While on his death bed, he advised Oleboheng to carry on by himself and follow his dream of being a Magician.

After his father's death, Oleboheng moved to Bloemfontein with his uncle. He continued to practice his magic and performed for people on the streets. His tricks eventually led to him finding love in a woman named Thando Sithole. They became extremely close and eventually became a couple. Not long after, Thando fell pregnant, but doctors figured there was something wrong with the child. But when she was giving birth, Thando was the one who lost her life and the baby survived. Oleboheng ended up having to raise the child as a single father; he named her Thandiwe, a name similar to her mother's. Oleboheng continued on with his magic to make a living and soon after, he became extremely popular, and it didn't take long until he performed in theatres and won major magician competitions; from provincial to national, and national to continental; he made it seem easy, and for him, it felt easy.

After winning the continental competition of Greatest Magician and automatically qualifying for its international competition, Oleboheng became intimidated by the competition at international level. He began to remember when his father told him not to be intimidated by anything; and what followed after that was a series of actions and decisions that would lead him to discovering his father's darkest secrets and the secret behind his mother and sister's mysterious disappearances. What he discovers haunts him for the rest of his living days and ultimately leads to him losing many of his friends, and threatens to have him lose his daughter as well, the only memory of Thando he had. To save her, he must either make a decision that will have him lose everything he worked hard for but keep his daughter, or lose his daughter and keep everything. What final decision will he make?
