Deep in the wastelands, a battle rages on between a human-lion hybrid and a gooey monster, who they call the Dark Disciple. The lion has been pinned down by the Dark Disciple, nearing defeat
THE DARK DISCIPLE: You are a fool to stop me!
LION: Just doin' everything I can...
The Dark Disciple roars in aggression, knowing his enemy will fall to his hands
LION: Oh yeah? Well ROAR to you to!
The two clash and start to push each other off the edge of the platform they were standing on. The lion's strength was slowly fading away, as the Dark Disciple was nearing victory
THE DARK DISCIPLE: Get off me, you insolent child!
With just one push, the Dark Disciple sends the lion to the ground, near the edge of death. The lion looks down at his near demise...
LION: Oh man...
THE DARK DISCIPLE: You have learned well...
The Dark Disciple stands close to the lion, towering him as he lies there. The Dark Disciple then stretches his hand to grasp the lion's neck, choking him as he holds him over the edge of the platform
THE DARK DISCIPLE: ...but you don't know everything...
The Dark Disciple then lets go of the lion's neck, sending him to the abyss of defeat...
KRIS: *screams*
Suddenly, a young boy, Kris, wakes up in his classroom with all of his classmates staring at him
KRIS: Oh man...that was weird...
His thoughts get interrupted by someone coughing to get his attention, it was his teacher, Mr McMahon
MR MCMAHON: Mr Mason. Were you...sleeping...in my class?
KRIS: Um, no, Mr McMahon, I was just, um...uh, taking a very...close look at my notes...
Kris felt very nervous. He didn't want to admit he was sleeping during class. It was the last day before summer vacation and Kris has big plans after school ends. Mr McMahon then continues with the lesson

While the lesson was going on, Kris tunes out to look around the room, just so he wasn't still dreaming
KRIS: Okay...everything's fine...I'm in class...it's okay...
Kris then gets out of his trance by Chase, his best friend. Chase and Kris always sat together during classes
CHASE: Psst, dude. were you actually sleeping?
Chase could tell when Kris was sleeping, Kris then told Chase what happened during his dream
KRIS: Kind of...I had this weird dream, Chase...
CHASE: What was it about?
KRIS: If I told you, you wouldn't believe me.
CHASE: Dang...anyway, you thought of a name yet?
