Three

A week had passed since my first date with Kovan. We talked everyday and soon, we were even calling at night to fall asleep together.

"...and you wouldn't believe the attitude! All for one mushroom." Kiara was in the middle of ranting about her day at work to my coworkers.

They loved when she visited and today, she was getting her roots touched up so she talked everyone's ears off. She'd been dying her curls a light, reddish brown for a couple months now and she loved it.

I was in the middle of sweeping my area and getting ready to leave for the day. All I could think about was tonight...

"Are you excited?" Kiara asks me as she played with her new hair in front of the mirror.

"I'm more nervous." I respond honestly.

Peter and Finn had invited us all to their house for burgers and a Marvel Marathon. Kiara and Henry weren't able to go since they were having dinner with Henry's parents tonight.

Which meant it'd just be me and Kovan going together. Which was exciting but we'd only been on two dates!

"Don't be. You've already met them so it's gonna be a good time! I'm so happy for you."

I smile at Kiara's mushiness. She always knew just what to say.

Unlike General Momo...that fluff-filled frog was having some words with me this morning! I left him in princess tent prison and hopefully it straightened him out by the time I got home.

After I finished cleaning up my zone, I wished my coworkers a goodnight and left with Kiara. We sang SZA the whole way home and definitely got some strange looks from passerby's since her car was basically a rolling fish bowl.

When we reached the apartment, I rushed inside to check on General Momo. He was exactly where I left him and I decided to remove his scrunchie handcuffs.

"I'm happy to see you've found your senses, General." I tell him and give him a kiss on the head.

I'd been fighting from falling into my little headspace all day. I still needed to shower and get ready so I tried to snap out of it and took a quick shower.

Kovan would be coming to get me again which left me not much time to get ready. So I decided to not wash my hair as it was still fresh and wavy. I just redid my makeup and added some cute clips to my hair.

My outfit consisted of a strawberry themed knitted sweater with a white skirt and white thigh-high socks. I was feeling extra little today and since Finn texted me that there would be other caregivers and littles, I decided to be my littlest self!

Kovan had only mostly gotten to know big me. Little me was still too shy to fully show herself so I figured, today is the day!

My phone pinged its usual text tone and my heart fluttered at his name popping up.

I yelled a quick goodbye to Kiara and rushed out the door.

Kovan was waiting right outside with his car as per usual. He looked extra handsome today with the sunglasses he wore. They paired well with his casual jeans and button up shirt that he layered over a plain white t-shirt.

"Hello, my pretty little fish. I missed you." He pulls me in for a hug and at first, I freeze in his embrace.

He smelled clean and woodsy, and I smiled against his chest.

I'd never get over how sweet it was when he buckled me in. This time, he even kissed my forehead afterwards. I felt my cheeks heat up and hoped it would subside before he got into the driver seat.
